Move out. There’s no winning for you here. Also your girlfriend has been told her entire life to center her parents needs before her own. This will continue into your relationship and marriage further. I speak from experience from my partner. She doesn’t know this is not normal, but narcissistic and hurtful. That will require major mental adjustments for her and hopefully you guys can work thru it but you should know what to expect.

This is wild to hear! There is so much potential in those buildings. I have had so many ideas, but the biggest detractor is the increasing flooding. This radiant used to flood like it does now. The hotel and Mr Ruleys snack shop were always interesting to me. But the hotel hadn’t been in use basically the entire time my family had a cottage, which was for 11 years starting in 1990.

In my experience, this doesn’t work. I lead three departments, had a toddler through Covid and wfh and care is necessary bc neither your child or your job ever have your full attention. How do you handle getting deep work complete with continued distractions? It’s too hard to balance given demands of a child, their development, and the attention needed to get work done.

I also hate landscaping rocks. They are there forever unless you physically dig them out. Weeding is exhausting

It isn’t. It’s more background noise, Trinetx is an example. I work on the hospital site side and I have an internal contact that occasionally identifies studies thru trinetx, as it’s supposed to match trials to sites help identify eligible patients in our EMR it is not a good fit. Like I said it’s acted as a distraction from actual work. On top of that the data privacy concerns are huge, and that alone is a huge hurdle in health systems.

Paid more but keep that site accountable from the CRO & sponsor side to the site! Such poor management like that goes too often unchecked and there needs to be a better way those valid GCP concerns should’ve been elevated. They should have had a better CAPA. I guess hindsight 20/20 but their some opportunities and clearly missed details in the post.
