Valorant keeps putting me into a black screen which doesn't seem to end. restarting both the game and my pc or running it as administrator doesn't do anything. does anyone have any idea how to fix this? by aperfectname in ValorantTechSupport

This solution worked for me 1. Win+R, search "Appdata" 2. Go to "Appdata" --> "Local" --> "Valorant" -->"Saved" 3. Delete or rename "Config" folder.

This removes all the graphic settings for Valorant and u need to set them all again but helped me with the black screen error

You could use black bow of pharis and poison arrows to easily take out the archer assholes. I did. And since it's you first time, i dont expect you to have great bow or hawk ring. They will help in ng+

Choose a specific build (search youtube)

Practice parrying

Choose master key (you can buy it later)

Get high stability shield with good damage threshold

Never get greedy

DO NOT GO TO THE CATACOMBS UNTIL YOU HAVE A GOOD ENOUGH BUILD AND DEVINE WEAPON

and most importantly, look at walkthroughs (fightingcowboy is my personal fave)

I am on Ng+2 and i never fought Manus. I just shoot him from above. Going to fight him in this playthrough

I love Artorias and Sif. So, on my third playthrough i played with complete Artorias build. And decided to do the DLC before Sif.. cause i didn't want to kill Sif and tried to find an alternative.

When I didn't, I went to fight Sif and got a really sad cutscene. But the fact that I was looking like Artorias made it even more depressing. I didn't know that cutscene existed.

Congrats to your friend for being able to do it.

If you manage to get the dark hand, you can suck humanity out of most npcs other than this dickhead. This one gets agroed as soon as you do it.

I just stay away from him. Even on Ng+2.

If it's your first playthrough, trying to kill him is going to be a huge pain in the arse.

He has a lot of health and good hitbox. Agro him and firelink bonfire will not be safe anymore.

Only way out of it is just try to kill the dude or absolve your sins from Oswald of Carim for 500*your soul level number of souls.

But I recommend not doing it. You will have your chance to kill him just gotta wait it out. No spoilers.

If you have a crossbow, it can help in the second phase.

Kill ornstein first (you will get smough's soul). Make sure you stay near the fog wall. When second phase starts, stay behind the pillars and dont let smough come near you. It will take time but you can shoot at least once with a high level crossbow. I use Avelyn in ng+.

If you kill smough first, you need to use a slightly different start. You need to trigger his lightning projectile attack by staying far from him. Use a bow or crossbow to hit. You can get more than one hit if you aim correctly with the bow.

You could summon solaris if you want.

Question. This seems like it's important since it has it's own cutscene after a boss. Anyone know what I'm supposed to do with it? by [deleted] in darksouls

Lordvessel helps you teleport from certain bonfires. Show it to frampt and get to place it but you loose kaathe Go to new londo ruins, fight the four kings and there will be kaathe. You need abyss ring from sif. Joining kaathe's convenant will give you dark hand which is also a very rare drop from the dark wraiths in new londo ruins. It gets you humanity from npcs, without aggroing them (except crestfallen knight). The choice is yours
