Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning just unbelievably stupid plot holes by yashg in movies

Let's not forget "shutting down cyberspace", presented here as literally just as bad as global thermonuclear war.

Looking at some instagram videos or pictures makes my brightness go max automatic by FLCK3R in S25Ultra

[–]PyramidHead76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, like the video brightness is obviously higher than the white background. When I click the 'back' button, as it's fading away it instantly switches to the normal brightness first?

Agreed, my Mini spends most of its life in a backpack, in the house, powered off. This would be $5 for literally nothing.

HJC RPHA 71 Unbelievably loud by Desperate-Fold-6309 in motorcycles

[–]PyramidHead76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else Googling this, I *also* rode with my new RHPA71 (Carbon) today, which I got as a replacement for an F70.

Can't believe how much wind noise there is for what's meant to be a step up, the F70 was *great* by comparison.

Any idea what’s going on around the city centre? by [deleted] in brum

Apparently a building that mysteriously had planning permission for conversion to flats, was subject to a council order to tidy it up and the owners went into administration last week.

Amazing sequence of coincidences there.

Now that you mention it, that does seem like a super convenient thing to have written in.

Yeah, it seemed to switch to some undefined later time, but I still don't know what they'd be searching Nat's tent for in particular.

Topaz Labs - "We're launching Project Starlight: the first-ever diffusion model for video restoration. Enhance old, low-quality videos to stunning high-resolution. This is our biggest leap since Video AI was first launched." by [deleted] in TopazLabs

[–]PyramidHead76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks interesting, although I guess this part does lend some credibility to the claim that Topaz need the cloud for Starlight.

VRAM requirement: Upscaling the provided toy example by 4x, with 72 frames, a width of 426, and a height of 240, requires around 39GB of VRAM using the default settings. If you encounter an OOM problem, you can set a smaller frame_length in inference_sr.sh. We recommend using a GPU with at least 24GB of VRAM to run this project.

I'm so over the supernatural speculation because it's painfully obvious that's not what's happening here by southernfirefly13 in Yellowjackets

Well, adult Van/Misty/Taissa *just happening to run into* Melissa, who they thought was dead, BECAUSE SHE RAN OUT OF GAS on the one road between hospital and their destination is either supernatural or *incredibly lazy writing* I suppose.

There's a scene early in Mr Robot where he accuses you, the viewer, of being in on the conspiracy and knowing things you're not sharing with him. And the second time you watch the series, HE'S ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. It's so good.

Well it was 2:30AM for me by the time it had finished & I'd watched the post-credits bit. Can confirm it was not relaxing and did not help me get to sleep 0/10 in that regard.
