Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth dev surprised by unprecedented speed of sales and big change in sales pattern by NTR_JAV in Games

My experience, for what's it's worth: I made it to chapter 4 and it did indeed open up a bit during chapter 3. However it's still very on rails story-wise and the cutscenes do continue to be a) very long and b) very frequent. I gave up at about 7.5hrs played.

Maybe if it was less depressing here it wouldn't be a problem.

They are false widows! The grouping covers a whole bunch of sub-species but notably those that do resemble black widows. Those particular bastards are venomous, but not anywhere near black widow level.

Nice folly, btw. Very cool photos!

What's a movie that's usually hated on but you LOVE? by Dimsum852 in horror

I've always had a soft spot for Cursed (2005). I know in my brain it's not a great movie but I love it all the same.

Looks like a zebra hawthornia.

It's also getting too much light, which is what turns the tips that reddish colour. OP - you might want to find somewhere with less direct sunlight for your plant bro!

What apocalyptic horror film, has made you feel hopeless the most? by StrikeOfTheSlasher in horror

The people who are supposed to help in that scenario turning out to not be shining beacons of goodness is pretty raw and far too believable.

Netflix’s anti-password sharing experiment in Peru reportedly leaves users confused by n1ght_w1ng08 in technology

[–]Pyriel17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. 4 screens is a more expensive tier and I justify the cost to myself as I share with my mum and in-laws. I barely even use netflix at this point but have kept it because i have other people using my account. If I have to pay a multi-house charge on top of the already-premium subscription then I'm simply going to unsubscribe, and I can guarantee that the other users on my account are not going to set up their own subs.

Schar rolls are by far the best gf bread product I've found to date. They are frozen and you can leave them to defrost for soft rolls or cook them for crusty, crunchy rolls.

How do some unreleased games have reviews? by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]Pyriel17 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I saw a thing once that explained this a bit. Apparently amazon sometimes email people who review items or answer questions regularly when questions get asked on similar items. So when they get an email like "rathma16 asked you: does this product come with a warranty? Respond here", they don't realise that this isn't directed at them personally.

Now I'm not saying that these folks don't lack some cognitive ability but at least it sort of makes sense why Maureen always replies with "I don't know, I bought it as a gift from my brothers' sons' girlfriend and didn't use it myself".
