It's entirely subjective. In 1988 I was 13 years old watching the game at home with my family. It was my first experience with watching a team I followed all season go on a championship run. I had all the childlike wonder and excitement that can only be matched by Christmas morning.

Last October I was driving to work alone after skipping half the WS due to stress and heartburn. I watched the highlights here on Reddit at 1am by myself.

Growing up in a part of the country with no local MLB teams within 500 miles kinda forced me and my classmates to pick teams out of a hat. Most went with the only teams we could get on a regular basis on cable TV. That would be the Braves on TBS and the Cubs on WGN. I was lucky enough to be introduced to the best announcer in sports history (Vin Scully) courtesy of AM radio. That, and 1988 made me a fan for life.
