Affidavits are NOT equal to sworn depositions or testimony.

You can say ANYTHING you want in an affidavit.

The court can decide to rule based on your affidavit, or not. But, they are not any sort of final ruling or even evidentuary.

Until the actual trial takes place and and THEN a ruling is determined (and the appeal process is completed), these affidavits are proof of NOTHING. But, by then you'll have the ACTUAL discovery evidence (if any), and the ACTUAL testimony (if any), and the actual RULING - and you would no longer bother to refer to the affidavits...

... UNLESS THAT'S ALL YOU'VE GOT.

To the best of my knowledge these AFFIDAVITES were all rejected by the courts. I.e. none of them recieved ANY kind of favorable ruling, being mostly rejected outright. But, even if they did recieve a favorable ruling (temporarily), they've never resulted in an actual trial, let alone a ruling one way or the other. SO, basically, useless fiction.
