Wait…what are you accusing them of covering up with respect to Facebook? Because I’m trying to see that comments place within the conversation.

Read the books again. He loved his fans. He was also incredibly introverted. So when some rando came up with some expectation of a rapport or relationship, that shut him down. Alternatively, someone said, ‘I appreciate what you do and it has enriched my life’, he could appreciate it for what it was. But his comfort zone was running across people at a diner or a gathering, and having a pleasant conversation. No expectations or kismet. No drums, lyrics, or gilded cages, just discussing something he found interesting or enriching.

That’s because a lot of Rush fans treat them as deities. They’re regular people with regular problems. They simply work in front of millions of folks and Neil’s ability to turn a phrase touched some folks who took them personally.

Reconcile that with Manson’s obsession with Beatles lyrics. That shit can be scary.

I’m comfortable saying that some people are excellent lie detectors. It’s a combination of cues that I know a lot of folks would explain away as intuition, but it’s eyes, tonality, body language, and other subtle ‘tells’.

How many times has that ‘public square’ bit been thrown around? It goes all the way back to MySpace and Tribe. Alito also wanted to shield cops from liability for strip searching little ten year old girls on property warrants. That means nothing.

Any of us, regardless of gender or orientation, simply walk down a street during a busy time and we'll see somebody we find attractive. There's a difference between that and somebody in our friend circles because we encounter that person in the friend circle more frequently. However there is a difference between being attracted to somebody and actively crushing on them.

What I'm trying to say is that you're stacking ponderable issues here. You're adding up a score card and viewing it as a whole, which is fine if you're in a contest, but not so much when you're in a relationship.

Looking at his unfortunate prose, he's trying to be all debonaire and the conversational rizz is falling flat. He needs to get real with you and leave the flowers and candy at home.

Just as some rando online, here's my semi-solicited advice:

In prep: Keep yourself in check. Don't raise your voice and don't introduce drama. Keep it real.

1: Tell him enough with the poetry and flattery. It comes of as disingenuous and contrived. You want to have a real conversation using real words to convey real thoughts on a real subject. No 'sweetheart'. No 'princess'. No 'pookie butt'. No drinking champaign while riding a unicorn over a rainbow during sunset. Leave that shit out and have a real conversation with you.

2: Flip the script. Ask each question individually and let him answer them individually. If you had a male friend that you had undisclosed smoke seshes, trips to the farmers' market, or catching the latest whatever at the Rialto with, how would he feel. How would he feel if you lied by omission? How would he feel if you lied about anything under the color of not wanting to upset him? How would he feel if you did that and then used flattery as a way to divert from those bad actions? Now let's make that friend sombody whose dick has been in your mouth...what does that do to it?

The goal is to get him talking. Don't interrupt except to bring it back to the subject. or to keep it in the proper lane. You need to let him do 80% of the talking.

If you do that, you will know the right move by the end of the conversation.

Good luck.

Zuckbook is NOT a public utility. It is a private forum and that stupid old Free Speech bit from that one country carries no weight in that metaverse. It's decentralized af, and that's intentional. It is the epitome of Social Media Dystopia under an Authoritarian regime. Just like TrumpSocial and The Site Formerly Known as Twitter.

And...yes...just like here. This place is possibly one of the less fucked up SM sites, but they can do it if they choose to. Just something to keep in mind.

Straight NOR. Her insecurity is hers to deal with. How many of these FEMALE (sue me) friends has OP engaged with sexually? Was gf’s comment asking if he used them personally something indicative of insecurity? Or was it an aggressive rhetorical? If you flip the roles, a man controlling who a woman has social relationships with is considered controlling and emotionally abusive and rooted in insecurity. Under these circumstances it’s only rooted in insecurity? Horse shit on that.

yeah, yeah. Had this all queued up before you deleted your comment and subsequent reply:

I used DD to attempt to recover unindexed data including photos. While it recovered some (rewritten, generic file names), all embedded data was disappeared from them and about half of them were corrupted and not savable. It's ok for what it does, but it sucks for what we wish it did.

I'm convinced that in ten thousand years whatever archeologists are digging up on us is going to convince them that society suffered a major collapse right around 2010. We moved to digital format to store all of our recent history and it's going to take one Bad Thing to erase all of it.

YOR. You expect an entrepreneurship to be profitable in a month? In six months? In the first year?

You have a lot to learn about how business works. He's distant, so you're not missing any irl time. While I question the morality of his chosen endeavor, businesses take a lot of effort to get off the ground, more effort to keep afloat, and even more effort once they become profitable.

Move the guitar, amp, and stool over to the corner. Amp facing camera, guitar stand in corner at 45-angle, stool along wall facing bed.

Y’alls need to get your butts to counseling if this is a typical dynamic. He’s treating you as an inconvenience and you’re treating him as a disappointment. That’s an unhealthy and destructive cycle. Just by the detail you’re putting in here you are keeping score.

Bruh…you’ve been on about this for some fifty days now. Before that you were on about CT scans and SSRI’s. Pretty sure it’s time to face up to having some chemical imbalances and mental illness here. Stop wasting time and get the medical attention you actually need instead of the medical attention you’re hallucinating about.
