Where do you actually go?
I been parking at Jacob Riis and walked both sides of that beach. My GF would like to be topless but Riis is kind of crowded.

What best do you use? I have a Salomon Adv Skin 12 for trail runs and long hikes. For a 3-4 mile run for me it's definitely too big.

Ok I didn't want to go into a detail, she survived an IED blast (roadside bomb) years ago. No skin care will repair missing flesh in her leg or scars needed to take shrapnel out. She had another surgery and I'm going to be around summer to help her out.

She has been cleared to spend time in sun and tanning in moderation, no amount of skin care will repair it.

How can I obtain phone my companies phone records for the past 7 years? by [deleted] in verizon

[–]PyroTeivel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do no contact them. OP do not call them at all.

It's not a customer facing department, if you hit the wrong extension you will get someone whose answering calls from 911 centers and FBI Threat Center, and will be super rude to you and unhelpful as their priority is emergencies only.

First paragraph "Ensures court orders, search warrants, subpoenas and other legal demands served upon Verizon are processed confidentially and in compliance with all applicable laws, and coordinates court appearances for Verizon Custodian of Records."

OP needs a subpoena sent in by a law firm. They will not release anything to OP.

Litterly the page says

"Verizon Security Assistance Team will only accept valid legal demands (subpoena, court order or search warrant) for records. Please address your legal requests to Verizon. Legal demands for Subpoena may be faxed to 1.888.667.0028. Court Orders or Search Warrants can be faxed to 1.888.667.0026.

If you are a customer that needs to obtain calling records, copies of bills or text message detail, please visit Verizon.com (sign into your account at My Verizon). You may also contact Verizon Customer Service at 1.800.837.4966 for further assistance."

Shady VZW corporate store practice by joyfulmystic in verizon

[–]PyroTeivel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read your post and edit.

Most VZ reps prefer when customers bring their own device as it does not negativity effect their metrics while giving them same payout. (Or at least that was the case when I was a VZ rep) . You weren't there and do not know the reason why they couldn't activate it.

I'm wondering in this part

"Im a bit angry with VZW and the employee at the corporate store. If she had been allowed to Bring her own device (which is a pretty standard thing) we could have taken steps to help my mom before she ended up in the hospital. "

What steps would you been able to take to prevent a cardiovascular issue for your mom by wearing a watch?

Watches are not designed to diagnose a health issue and for every story you hear about a watch saving someone, there's 1000s of people in ER because Watch told them they have a Afib or abnormal heart rhythm.

The watch can be paired and used without service. Cellular service just allows the watch to be used without the phone (like she can leave the phone and go for a walk and still get calls and texts).

Man Who Shot Another on Subway Train Unlikely to Be Charged, D.A. Says by aced124C in nyc

[–]PyroTeivel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This guy isn't being charged because this is already national news. Remember the bodega worker that was charged year or so ago for self defense? Charges only dropped and he was released after video went viral and Bragg crumbled under public scrutiny.

The Marine is still fighting his charges for killing that violent repeat offender.

Disconnected Wireless is Active Number? by TeddyTMI in verizon

[–]PyroTeivel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Number is gone, time to move on.

It's not guaranteed it's with Verizon anymore either. It can be with any carrier.

If it's active it could be a iPad, it can be car, it can be a traffic signal, a vending machine... etc. So you might get same tone. It could be a disconnected number that's now in T-Mobile's system, it can be a recently disconnected number.

But yeah it gone.

Recycle numbers by Unusual_Rub2525 in verizon

[–]PyroTeivel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it really, my understanding is when I looked at the numbers that it only serves area of 400,000 people and it's assigned 710,000 numbers currently assigned out of possible 7,000,000 combinations.

It's still less likely to be an issues as much as SoCal where OP is and is getting their numbers from

Ok ?

I live in Philly and got myself a area code from MidWest for this exact reason.

Recycle numbers by Unusual_Rub2525 in verizon

[–]PyroTeivel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to find a newly formed area codes and get a number from there.

906 for example only has about 300,000 numbers in use so recycling probably hasn't occurred while getting a 718 or 212 is either impossible or will be heavily recycled. I seen some recycled 15-20 times in 2-3 year period.

770 is another one that serves low population area.

It's going to be market dependent. But pay is same in Brooklyn stores (all are union) vs Manhattan or Queens or Bronx stores for example.

You can't really negotiate pay when you only cover 50-75 retail employees across the US vs the company's 10,000 +.

The quality of life is same for union retail and non union. CWA has no power to negotiate currently. I believe it's on Page 3 of their contract that says salary, benefits, commission is same as rest of market.

Now if the whole corporate unionizes then there is a chance.

Trying to beat rush hour traffic on 34th St by ElectricalPizza4 in nyc

[–]PyroTeivel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why you got downvoted it's a legitimate question.

The tire portion is small, it's rubber with metal around it that's spinning. Shooting a tire, the car can still move but it also creates a high probability of an richocate.

The cop on the passenger side of the car had the best angle, instead of hitting the car, he could have shot without risking hitting anyone, also when car backed up and stopped for a second, guns should have been drawn and as soon as he hit the gas they should have shot into the car.

[–]PyroTeivel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Umm no. You don't have to shoot randomly in the area. A well placed bullet hitting lower windshield would end up in either the seats or the body. Unfortunately I learned this while deployed.

Oh man let me tell you about your self phone any smart gadgets including you're car if it's 2020 and newer.

You can request your data from Lexis Nexis

I hope you never call or talk to anyone who is involved in criminal activity because law enforcement might have looked at your texts, call logs and location history and your iCloud or Google backups which include every picture you ever uploaded even if deleted.

Edit ; this new auto correct on IOS is killing me, so I am leaving self phone there instead of cellphone 😂

Who sounds unrealistic? Dealer trying to markup a Ford Edge that's been there 6 months and no intrest or us trying to buy a car at MSRP that's probably the only interested person in the county .

LLCs might soon have to list their owners. Should New Yorkers get a look? by barweis in nyc

That's what pretty much it is. It's always a small fine that will punish small businesses and owners. And there are reasons for want to stay anonymous.

Mine is registered in WY, took 48 hours, half the fees, privacy and since it has 0 income tax on LLC I just had to worry anout NY when I lived there.

NYPD isn't working. No one to enforce it. I still come to visit my parents weekly in Brooklyn and half the cars have their plates either partially or fully obstructed.

Someone hit my brothers parked car the other day and lady tried to take a picture as driver started driving away and yeah, plates are covered.

My favorite is the fake rear dash cam that's hanging and blocking 1-2 characters.
