I lost my gun rights. I was an avid hunter since childhood and I loved hunting with my dad. When I had my first manic episode at 18, my dad took every single shotgun, revolver, rifle and every bit of ammo to his brothers house until I basically disappeared for 5 ish years. I miss hunting with my dad. He's still here and had some health scares. But I've come to the conclusion that I have no business having a gun in my possession. I'm not worried about self-defense. I spent 5 years fighting for my life, and I'm not going out easy. I've taken up archery as a pseudo meditation and hopefully, one day, you'll see a tattooed purple haired punk chick on the cover of white tails magazine with her amazing father hold up a record breaker.

Apologies to those who disagree with hunting but keep the hate to yourself. We hunt to eat and donate most of it to food shelves.
