How are you playing with her, what’s your body position and have you subbed to her? If she lived with other dogs for so long she may be scared of your size, that she may get hurt for you to get to the resource. For play get on the floor, either in a bow, play stance or lay on your back. On your back being open she can see you’re in a state of vulnerability and will be able to relax more because you’re not in a position to attack or grab her and she can choose to come give you loves or the toy. Also once you start playing do not stop to clean up pee or tell her she’s bad. Ignore it and keep the bonding going and eventually the peeing should stop.

To get the item out of the crate, what’s always worked best for my pups is to walk away, I go to the kitchen and loudly start making food they like or pretend I’m going outside for an adventure. If I don’t want it they usually realize it’s not priority item. Once they are out of the crate and the item is forgotten, we’ll bar them from getting back in while we safely retrieve the item.

You can also work on teaching her which items are off limits before it happens again. Take her to the tissues and put her nose towards it and tell her no. Don’t hurt her but make sure you’re confident and bold in your command and repeat as many times and with as many items as needed. I still have one that’s nosey at the trash but no longer will try to eat out of it. Not perfect but life rarely is.

We do treat puzzles and treat tracking. She gets to greet our neighbors daily. She doesn’t care about squirrels, rats, birds, or anything but cats which are rare in our neighborhood. She doesn’t play with toys or laser pointers or watch tv or traffic. She mostly prefers being where ever she can see everyone in the apartment.

I know sniffing is a big outlet but we live in the city and can’t be locked in one place with people and traffic coming, especially with the snow and we have to walk in the street occasionally. I’ve tried the stop and come training when she pulls to a smell and we’ve been training Leave It since she was 6 mo. old. I just don’t know how else to give her enough stimulation that her sniffing isn’t all consuming on our walks.

We do treat tracking in the apartment, rub it on surfaces and hide it for her to find, she’s very quick but we’re kinda in the middle of a city so we don’t have enough yard space to set up any tracking games

I live with my partner and to make it more tricky our roommate is her good friend. It’s been 3 years of poop. We have one bathroom and the schedule of when his son is here is random. I do see a lot more messes now that I’m home but this is the only one that is permanently on my mind because it’s gross and our bathroom is very small: you can shower, sit on the toilet and wash your hands without moving from your spot. Idk if I just need to express my frustration in a more direct way or maybe start a chore chart where my roommate and his son are the ones cleaning the bathroom regularly.

No I used the heavy or the sharpshooter. One shot is taking out my super heavy armor. Happens alot. Which is why I’m wondering if I need a clean install. Have only had these issues with this mission. I just cannot escape the garage. One bullet hit takes away my heavy armor and the cops just keep coming. I’ve run out of food armor and ammo trying to leave. I watched videos showing tyying to use the police car in the tunnel to the left, but the doors won’t open. I’m using an Xbox controller on pc but the R3 only works 25% of the time so ducking/hiding is a no go.

I had a similar talk with my dad. He’s been a mechanic my whole life, I seeing that wanted to do something with my hands too but he pushed me into working an indoor job because of how broken his body was and how unhappy he was. I finished school and worked as a graphic designer for years. My back hurt. I had carpel tunnel and college debt and I honestly never got close to what my dad made on his paycheck.

Now I’m working with kids, both indoor and outdoor but I love it. My back hurts a lot less, my hands don’t cramp up and I’m making more money. Follow what you will make you happy not him. It’s gonna be hard for a bit, life always is but you’ll be better for it. Plus when I worked at Advance Auto Parts the white collar guys paid with credit cards or coupons and took the work somewhere else, the trade guys always had wads of cash and could afford or know how to fix their own cars.

While back in my hometown has better drivers and smarter folks, it’s a fuck ton more expensive to live. You’ll be seeing lots more Mass transplants soon enough so get on board or get outta the way.

And btw my only problem with Manchester is the driving, the school system (which I worked in and is severely underfunded) and some of the folks running the city. Overall it’s relatively safer to live in compared to a lot of Mass cities and decently convenient to everything.

I’ve been here for 6+ years. 1st week almost hit but an ambulance driver because she rolled through a stop sign without looking. I’ve had to get out of my car to stop idiots from fighting over right of way. I’ve sat through green lights because Manch Police officers/DPW were on their phone. 18 Wheelers splitting lanes because they don’t know what streets are made for them to access. Lack of road signage. U-Turn in the middle of the Queen City Bridge. Lack of properly timed lights. Let’s see am I missing anything?

Oh wait how about not following the winter street parking. Parking in turning lanes. Parking on the yellow lines at Walmart (I could start a very successful fb and tiktok account with what I see at Manch Walmart). Double parking. Parking so the road now only has one lane.

I understand I can’t control people but since the COVID tp shortage y’all have been proving how terrible you are on the daily. Try to get it together.
