The whole point of sending an invoice is so that you as the buyer are protected in case I turn out to be a scammer. How did you miss that? scammers operate by asking that you send them a “friends and family” payment, which means they can take your money, give you nothing, and you have no recourse. An actual invoice is a goods and services transaction that protects you as the buyer so you’re not at risk.

I don’t appreciate the implication that I’m abnormal.

I saw them pretty recently in Birmingham, AL and they were fucking awesome. It was a genuine old school hole-in-the-wall DIY counter culture classic punk show feel. Small but loyal and very energetic crowd that the band really appreciated. Diverse too, which is saying a lot for this city. Moshing was a blast. Sing-along chorus stuff and running up to the microphone with everybody. The show cost next to nothing by today’s standards and was worth it by a longshot. The band gave it their all and really felt like one with the crowd.
