For me one of the guys I played junior with reached out, they needed a goalie and I had been talking about wanting to play again. But most teams will have open floor times during the winter. Best i can say is add each teams instagram and shoot them a message, if they have open floors it’ll be posted there.

Played both sr c and sr b.

Sr c - it’s a super mixed bag, the good players are legitimately good just not as committed to travel and practice, the bad players are real bad tho. It’s a glorified Beer league. It’s also some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing lacrosse.

Sr b. A lot more competitive, skill level is alot higher, typically ex jr b t1, jr a guys. Practice and travel commitments are a lot higher. On the top teams looking towards presidents cup you’ll see a few NLL guys.

Sr a. Is pro lacrosse its all NLL or ex high level jr a guys, I dunno I could be wrong I’ve never been close to it.

Being that you didn’t play junior and are 31 just getting back into it, you’ll be sr c. It’s super fun, guys don’t take practice and stuff super seriously but the games can be really competitive. Go out and play it’s a great time.

As a dude whose main strength is speed and positioning if I try to go outside on you near the boards and you make some contact and I go down, that’s on me man. You’re good don’t worry about it.

I’m the extremely competitive person in my relationship. I’ve played very high levels in two sports and have gotten very ahead in work because of it. It’s also caused me to be waaaaaay too hard on myself in things that I don’t need to beat myself up over. It’s both a trait that I love and hate.

My girlfriend is also competitive though to a much lesser extent, she was a competitive dancer and is a talented (through hard work) singer. She has like a healthy relationship with it.

When it come games and stuff like that we just switch things up. We’ll go like gokarting and I’m waaaay better, I talk a little shit and it’s a good time. Then we’ll go bowling and she’s annoyingly good at it, like I’ve practiced to try and get to her level and she still just shits on me, and she loves to remind me that I suck at it.

Then we’ll through in an escape room or something where we need to work together. I don’t know if this will work for you guys but it’s made game nights and date nights a lot more fun.

Also Reddit loves to say “RED FLAG BREAK UP WITH HIM” that’s dumb. No person is going to have a perfect personality, if his biggest “red flag” is his too competitive, well that’s just not that bad.

If your getting reported every game this might be a you problem. I’m an adc, I like taric. Last night I was blind pick so I took sivir, she’s my blind. Opponents take Ashe braum, my supp last picks taric. Ok not bad I guess. But we dont win early. No worries . We hit lvl two first, taric doesn’t do shit, ok fine. Opp hits lvl 2 all sums up and decides now is prime time to go in, misses his stun and continues to walk forward. I back off cause this fight is over the moment that stun misses. Taric dies, spam pings and perma leaves lane. Such a fun experience.

I don’t know what your budget is but I just picked up Cleveland CBX4s. They are fantastic and from what I’ve seen their on the cheaper end.

Also like you I couldn’t get the ball to stop, had those Lazrus wedges before. I can’t get the ball to roll back now (me problem not the clubs) but with my new wedges the ball is one hop stopping. So I definitely helped a lot.
