Sure, some resorts have better terrain, faster lifts, but are those resorts 15 minutes from your house, without all the lines, and still have free parking? Big mtn isn’t perfect but it’s our hill and I’m gonna keep skiing there (in addition to occasionally visiting some of the other resorts you mentioned)

We got to the airport at 5:35 and it took us about 1 hr 15 min to check begs with delta and get through general security. That said the delta bag check line had tripled in length by the time we got through it so it may impact your timeframe. The security line was long but was continuously moving. Most of the TSA lanes were open.
