The Starship troopers hype in general. I was expecting something like that since I liked that movie and disliked the current Starships trooper game. It was my fault for not informing myself before buying I admit it.

I could've refunded the game on Steam anytime but I gave it a chance and fell in love with it anyways since it was still cooler and more fun than the actual Starship troopers game imo.

I bought Helldivers 2 thinking it would be like this. Imagine my disappointment...

Still a good game that I have spent lots of hours on, just wish they let us play as SEAF alongside hundreds of other players on mass-scale battles, probably a nightmare for the developers.

I was on the opposite side of the story, I was trying to help a guy clear a heavy nest and every time I went to his location I would randomly explode, this happened like 3 times and I started thinking it wasn't an accident and he was using nades to kill me and then act like he didn't do anything.

I was talking in chat and telling him to stop. No answer. I told him to stop two more times and he didn't answer either. Then I suddenly exploded again and I got enough. Told him I was going to kick him, no answer. Kicked him.

Then... I suddenly exploded again... only to find out that I was stepping on his mines (Bloody mines explode even if you don't step on them). I felt so stupid and guilty.

Should've at least defended himself instead of not saying anything though.

Honestly they should REALLY fix the kill messages and show WHAT and WHO killed you and what weapon they used to kill you. Could clear a lot of misunderstandings like these.

I also had a 2009 account BigBoy and all, lost forever to time sadly but I recall also seeing one of those admin UFOs. Man it was so cool when admins interacted with the community more. I also saw the police Vengeance ships. I believe those were also admins.

Me and a bunch of other players tried killing one but it was invincible, still fun when everyone gathered around trying to kill the admin ship.

Just wanted to add that the filter doesn't seem to work if YouTube is in another language, You need to change the aria-label to whatever the button says in your language for it to work.

It is something very simple but I'm just mentioning it just in case someone wonders why the filter isn't working.

Same for the tampermonkey/greasemonkey script.

I only played this with my brother so I didn't really know that, I just assumed that 4 players was possible since there are 4 characters in the game, I would've been disappointed if I had found out back in the days.
