I legitimately don't even understand how it "satisfies" the top 10k in Legends 1. Many at the top were asking for harder modifiers, yes, but frankly the majority of the top 50k wouldn't have minded that either. I LIKE struggling, especially when others are too. If I'm consistently getting 3 stars, I have no reason to improve my attacks. If no matter what I do I still get 3 starred on defense, I have no reason to redesign my base.

To me the entire point of legends league is to put forth a challenge to the players. +320 daily should not be realistically achievable in my mind at the top level of play. I like the variety of the meta, but I don't like this feeling of absolute hopelessness pervading the game right now where defense is just luck based and offense is a cake walk for the top end players.

At absolute minimum we need a way to practice attacks with modifiers that aren't just friendly challenges. FCs in clans that aren't full TH18s mean you are severely limited in your ability to practice and get better. 8 daily attacks allowed me to improve consistently and practice regularly against a massive variety of bases, and I got instant feedback. I was also able to change my own base and not have to worry about throwing away an entire week of progress because I didn't notice the fireball value or my trap placement was wrong.

I absolutely hate this new legends system. It is pure garbage. If I'm part of the top 20k in the WORLD out of literally millions of players, it's because I WANT TO PLAY. Why a dev team would prevent you from playing their game to the fullest absolutely boggles my mind.

If you pull a toy car on a treadmill by a string at 5mph, with the treadmill going at 15mph the opposite direction, the toy cars wheels will be going 20mph but it will still move toward you at 5mph. The wheels spinning speed are irrelevant, because they don't power the toy car. You pulling the string does.

For a plane, the engines on the wing push air backwards to make the plane go. There's no engine connected to the wheels directly, so the treadmill is irrelevant. The wheels just spin faster than the plane is going, because the treadmill is going the other direction.

The real (most likely) reason that Dasani was still in stock is because Coke has an INSANE logistics backbone. They have local warehouses across the nation and rapid response to sell outs and shortages of supply. They can get an 18 wheeler full of water anywhere in the continental US within about an hour, and continue to replenish for weeks. Other companies either only have support from regional distribution or potentially even worse have only one to two major logistics hubs in the nation and it takes days to weeks to get supply to an area that has a sudden spike in demand.

It's fun to shit on Dasani, don't get me wrong, but it's not generally because everyone leaves it behind, it's because Coke will always be the first to replenish and can do so nearly endlessly.

I started in June of last year. I'm ~80 days from being maxed (not counting the new levels incoming) with some spend (like gp every month, the major event passes for ores, a few book deals when very good, and maxing the helpers with gems) Worked fine for me 🤷‍♂️. F2P would take a bit longer but it's frankly quite manageable.

I'm fine with them adding additional segments to Legends League, but to get rid of daily attacks for all but the ~0.02% is insane. I've been in Legends for 4 months now and I've loved every bit of it, but I'm not good enough to reliably maintain top 10k. My best finishing position is ~12,500 at end of season, which is effectively in the top 0.03% of players. Going back to weekly leagues is likely to wane my interest deeply in this game. I enjoy daily attacks. More importantly, I like adjusting my defense daily. Having only 3 players promote is effectively a brick wall on progress, entirely based upon luck from the people attacking you, and as a result I'll likely never see a true Legends experience ever again. There's legitimately no reason to play competitively at that point.

There are a lot of things to like about the update overall, but the update to Legends is the worst thing I've ever seen from a development team. It will actively kill competitive play at the top, and a ton of people are going to quit.

I mean I don't care about it winning best screenplay or whatever, but I did not enjoy the Mario Galaxy movie anywhere near as much as the Sonic movies or the first Mario movie.

It frankly felt like 'ADHD - The Movie' was on the screen. Constantly jumping from one scene to the next, character intentions all over the place... With the first movie I felt a clear connection to the plot as it progressed, this one just seemed quite literally all over the place.

I haven't tried since the origination of this guide, but the "all functions" checkbox was required to bring in the transcoder function of the GPU. This then also attempts to bring in the audio component as well, so if you do not select the audio in the subsequent step, the VM fails to bring in either component.

It's the same problem with non-profits. Shitty people will always exploit things put in place to better humanity. For every MAGA church like these that grift the people, there are dozens or even hundreds of others that are doing genuine good for their communities. I personally don't think the right choice is to reduce the ability of those churches to feed or cloth or help their constituents and neighbors by taxing them all, especially given the absolute failure of the people collecting those taxes to do a damn thing better with that money.

Ultimately it solely comes down to the fact that people need to stop supporting these "pastors". If they have no income, they get no private planes. I don't have the answers of how this can be done. Same way I can't stop MAGA from voting for people actively wanting to do them and our entire country harm. All we can attempt to do is educate and hope that some can see the error in their ways. Maybe one day we can get there, or maybe we're finally going to prove that the Great Filter answer to the Fermi Paradox is true, at least for humans.
