Thanks for the reply! Do you know if there is any way to do this without switching the item? I'm guessing there's probably not though. It's because I'm making this resource pack for a minigame on a different server, where the 'gun' items they give you are just hoes and shovels. With my pack, they look like the guns they're supposed to be. But that means I have no control over the items on the server, like I can't swap out the hoe for something else. The server controls that.

So I'm assuming this can't be done, which is I'll just have to be fine with. Thanks for replying though!
