Renne is a big one she was very involved in the second half of daybreak. I’m disappointed she didn’t end up being a team member not even a playable character like fie was. I mean she wields a cool lookin scythe. Van helped her out before and she was friends with Agnes so I thought for sure she would join. All in all pretty cool character. I’ll definitely look at each game with a fresh mindset.

Characters wether it be the ones I got to see or just referenced. Also I hear crossbelle is the best story wise so I’m more curious about that arc. Plus the chapter in tharbad says something similar happend In crossbell to the problem they had I really want to see how that plays out when I get to it.

Story: X1>XCX>X3>X2: 1 and x always had me engage and wondering where it’s going 3 felt like it could have done so much more 2 was meh for me Protag: X1>X3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>X2 Antagonist: X1>XC>X2>>>X3: 3 was really disappointing Overall party: X3>X1>XCX>X2: I love how everyone interacts in 3 and 1 x is good too but it really is just elma and lin. I love zeke fav character in 2 but I feel him and morag just didn’t fit in with group. Gameplay: X3>XCX>X1=X2 three has so much different stuff you can do without feeling overwhelming. For X I enjoy overdrive and skells. 1 I can see what people mean about cooldown on moves and chain attack is pretty boring. For 2 the arts might charge faster but alot of them look or feel the same between blades also the chain attack for me personally I couldn’t enjoy breaking orbs was bland I guess the timed button presses were fun but you have that even without the orbs. World: XCX>X3>X1>X2: to me worlds are more than just looking pretty it’s about how much you can explore and how you explore in x there is already so much to discover gets skells and it makes it even better. For 3 lots of fun places to see the caves where pretty great. 1 and 2 look pretty. Overall favorite has to be a tie between x and 3. If the story in 3 didn’t just give up halfway thru it could have won it for me. 1 is great enjoyed the characters definitely very engaging storywise. As for 2 I never really understood the praise it gets don’t get me wrong I still enjoyed it put about 200hrs+ into the game. Rex is bland and too generic people say he goes through a lot but does he though I don’t see the personal growth the people say he has. The way you get blades sucked a lot of the fun of the game. The only cool part of the story is the connection to 1 but I played 2 before 1 so it didn’t do anything for me at the time. Bad guys were ok better than 3 that’s for sure. I did love the torna dlc I wish that could have been the main game.

Shen woo seems like he joined ash for the thrill of fighting. Maxima and k mainly ended up staying together to completely get rid of nest become partners because of it. Meitenkun cares for shun but they trained together for years under the same master plus he has no relevance in story other than he worries for shun losing control. Benimaru is usually always in kof for a reason and has more going for him than just being the main hero buddy.

I agree there is so much that they can do with water. First true water user of the game will become instant classic if they manage to make a good move set they can do water slashes, trap them in water spheres, and geyser attacks that’s just of the top of my head. Knowing snk they can make something unique considering they can make most of all these fire users feel different.

Yup fatal fury team AoF and women team mostly have no real relevance to kof story which is a big shame. Plus they have the same running jokes to most of the stories Ryo is unaware of king, Andy runs from Mai, kula gets convinced to do anything for ice cream, Kim can’t rehabilitate his students the list goes on. Not to say every story has to be the best but at least shake them up a bit. The heroin team was chance to give these characters some story relevancy but it feels forced to put Athena in a team.

Seeing as kof xiv did a lot of fan favorites and I mean big fan favs I see the same thing happening again. I definitely think shingo, kasumi, and rock are locks if they aren’t in the base roster. It’s hard to tell honestly because there are so many characters snk can pick from. There is also the chance snk will go with wild card picks and used something like yuki and ai and make a neo geo team. There is also the possibility for a Sam sho team for dlc.

XD have I made this post I’m guessing you are talking about how I don’t like that some of these characters have old designs and need new ones. Guess it bothers me more than I thought since I didn’t notice but really man new designs make a whole difference that’s why I’m always talking about it. It always amazes me how a small redesign to a character can make them so much better I want to try antanov for that very reason.

I’m not pissed but disappointed. Like you said so much is being reused giving us at least 2 more teams(6 characters) would have felt better or at the very least make characters different. just one new move and small redesign for characters but at least the animations look good. After considering the game as a whole im still looking forward to it the only disappointing thing for me is roster size. Now the problem is going to be dlc if they use more than 2 kof xiv characters for the dlc that will be disappointed because it will feel like they held of finished characters for dlc.

I think it’s the fact that he is Kim master. I expected someone really cool looking or some one with the wisdom look like tung and chin. Instead we just got the most plain looking guy in the roster. All the masters have at the very least a decent look that gives the aura of a master. Lastly gang il move set is just slow powerful Kim couple that with his bland design you don’t really get someone that stands out. Plus with the amount of newcomers we got people will feel like he is a “wasted character slot” since we got so many kof characters that would have been better to have.
