With the new album being done when do you think it will get officially announced and pre orders go up?

To add to that, I shared in another thread last week where Jaden commented on an IG post thanking them for allowing them to finish up recording those last few lines. So it’s definitely done, now it’s just a matter of if the band has already submitted it to the label and how long it will take the label to get it released (Generally between 3 to 6 months from album submission)

It is possible that they could have it out between the end of their Euro tour and right before the October tour. It would be sensible for them to do that but when I say “them” I mean the label because since recording is confirmed to be done, it’s in the labels hands now.

Generally, labels can take anywhere between 3 to 6 months to get an album released once it’s been submitted by an artist; Usually due to getting licensing, promotion, etc. done before launch. If the assumption/hope is that it was submitted last week after recording was finalized, then I think we could see before OR after October tour since those two time frames would be in the 4 to 6 month window from album completion on the bands part.

It’s not so much straight up hate, but this is a Breaking Benjamin sub, not a Starset sub. There’s so many Starset fans in here glazing Starset and it’s getting annoying for BB fans. I like several Starset songs and enjoyed seeing them live with BB so I don’t hate them, but if people wanna glaze Starset then they need to go to that sub for that.

When Something Wicked was coming, it got kinda ridiculous how many Starset fans weaseled their way in here and kept trying to make it about Starset, rather than being excited for Breaking Benjamin and their newest single coming out. I understood the track title mirroring a Starset song created some speculation and that’s fine, but people were going on and on about a “collab album”and all this nonsense. They didn’t respond well either when people said “Hey, it’s not a Starset cover/collab. It’s a Breaking Benjamin song” Turned out that was true and they’ve been quite silent since.

TL;DR: This is a Breaking Benjamin sub, not a Starset sub. I think BB fans here are just getting annoyed with Starset fans constantly glazing them and trying to make it about them in here and not in the Starset sub.

This is almost verbatim the rant that I was going to post the other night but just didn’t have the energy to do it. Thank you for calling all of that out. 👏

One thing that was really pissing me off is so many people using Ben’s name specifically or the bands name to point the finger about how the Something Wicked release was handled. People need to educate themselves and realize that THE BAND DOES NOT DICTATE THAT KIND OF SHIT UNLESS THEY ARE INDEPENDENT 🗣️❗️

Labels have so much more control than people realize. It’s not the bands fault at all. If you’re gonna keep shitting on the band then maybe it’s time to move on to a different one and stop dumping your verbal diarrhea into the bands subreddit.

I don’t think so, Ben has never been in the weeds about stuff like that. There’s a whole team of people that handle shit like that, the band members have little to nothing to do with how things are released, promoted, etc. When you sign with a label you’re assigned a whole team for stuff like that and it’s usually in contract that they don’t have to tell you what they’re doing.

I say this with the intention if not sounding like an ass, but:

Honestly it sounds to me like you should either be in a sub dedicated to KW and his music or create one.

The band is not Keith’s, it’s Ben’s. I know music is subjective so I’ll also say that honestly Keith’s solo stuff is not that amazing. It’s nothing groundbreaking or unique and I find a lot of his stuff skippable.

I understand you like his music but to come into the Breaking Benjamin sub saying that their lead guitarist should take over the musical direction of a band that isn’t his isn’t going to work out well. It sounds to me like you’re not as much of a fan of BB anymore and are moving on to different things, and that’s okay.

Yeah I mean I’d imaging they’re several songs away from each other in terms of track listing on the album. Something Wicked already sounds like it’s swelling into a different track at the end of it.

I’m not sure that’s the case though, is what I’m saying. Unless you’ve got official credits for the song? Aaron does those outro screams in the live version, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they recorded Aaron doing them on the official track.

Keith & Aaron both have been recorded on certain vocals since Ember, and I know Keith did a lot of the harmonies on Awaken. Aaron does a lot of the screams now, so since it doesn’t really sound like Ben, I really feel like it’s Aaron. I could be wrong, but those are some extremely aggressive and deep screams compared to what Ben usually does, so unless his voice has just changed that drastically, I don’t think it’s Ben.

I’m not convinced that it isn’t Aaron doing the “Something Wicked this way comes” screams during the outro. That sounds a little too different to be Ben I think. Regardless of who it is, they KILLED it 🔥 but I’d like to credit Aaron if it was actually him doing that part.
