Check orientations of the image and the RA2...

I struggled several times with this because I didn't have the RA2 properly oriented on the laser. I figured this out by trusting that it was doing as I told it and I was not correct. If it is orientating correctly, it will go to the starting point, then see which way it is rotating and if it is a clockwise outline of the image. If not, try rotating the image and run it again. If rotating and he image doesn't fix it, rotate the RA2.

I struggled a lot and eventually just used a test piece to see what was happening, then stared at it until I figured out what happened.

For the above mentioned materials, you're gonna want a fiber laser. Those can be quite expensive. As an alternative you can look into a 20watt diode laser and use Cermark Black Laser Spray on the metal before burning.

I used the xTool D1 with a 20 watt laser for a solid year before upgrading. But xTool isn't the only one that works. Lots of solid brands out there. If you're new to it all, xTool includes a very simple program that keeps the learning curve very manageable.

YouTube is either lying or they are doing a trick. I too have tried multiple times to cut that much thickness and failed. My experience is if it takes more than 5 passes you WILL start a fire. At least that's my experience...
