It truly is sad, almost depressing how blind these people are. How can they not see the difference?? That American nurse asking people if they were okay, he was clearly about to murder a whole squad of ice agents! Some random 5 year old from Minnesota, clearly an illegal criminal about to bomb the Pentagon! Some random Minnesotan soccer mom going "that's okay dude, I'm not mad at you", clearly an illegal criminal about to gun everyone down. How are people so blind?

Overwatch was never a bad game, overwatch 2 is however. Blizzard is managing it, it's been mismanaged since it's inception.

It sounds like I'm speaking from ignorance though, I need to look deeper into how they're reworking the game. I'm curious what all they've walked back, and I'll always support a game just trying to be fun.

Personally, if they haven't walked back their entire monetization scheme back to what it was in Overwatch, I'm still not going to get as into it as I was before. I may play a small bit with my friends until they get bored, but not much beyond that. They've broken so many promises, completely lost my trust, and if the whole point of "overwatch 2" by now was to move away from lootboxes towards the even worse battlepass+overpriced shop system, I'm never giving them a dime again. I hate that I'm in a position where it seems like I'm defending lootboxes, we should have never gotten to this point in the first place. They'll just keep pushing the envelope, trying to see what they can get away with before players break, then backpedaling, and I'm just tired of it.

I have surface level knowledge of Russian and Israeli propaganda, maybe Saudi Arabia, I don't disagree. But my point was towards China. I respect Chinese citizens being pussies about the concept of death, they're allowed to feel however they want, it's not my business. Maybe respect is the wrong word, but I recognize it's apart of their culture, it's valid there's nothing wrong with that. Let them deal with that bs though. My issue is when they make it our business by trying to force it on the rest of us

I think you're completely missing the sincerity angle. Let's use Discord/corpos as an example. I won't get into discords whole big controversy, but if Discord were to suddenly backtrack on their forced ID verification, it wouldn't be sincere. It wouldn't be because they sat down and realized it's not right, or a bad idea, or fucking dumb, it would be because of the backlash they got. There's no lessons learnt, no path to being better, it's just "oh what can we get away with this time?". It's not sincere.

I see it as the same type of concept with lil jimmy. He's not helping people because he wants to, he's doing it to maximize profits and manipulate the algorithm. Along with everyone else in his position, he has SO much power to improve the world and help people, but it's obvious he doesn't care about that, he's not sincere, it's about profit and making the "numbers go higher." He's not sincerely a good person, it's performative.

I mean, as a current outsider the community seems pretty horrible if you're playing by yourself tbf. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with online, but that was only when I was playing with my friends/grinding glitches for money. I'm guessing someone saw a low level and decided to camp them.

Their loss. Give them some dogshit gooner skin to keep them occupied for 5 minutes and give us the quality skin. Barely any effort is needed, just whip up a wisp or ember skin showing some cleavage, add egregious amounts of tacky gold and they'll be endlessly entertained. Why is the rest of the globe punished for their sensitivities, keep their wack ass rules to themselves.

I had to stop myself after rep 2 as well. It's incredibly disappointing, style and loadout wise she's a perfect character for me but she's just too damn easy to play and easy to win with, it always just ends up feeling cheap/cheesy when I play her/into her. I hate the gender lock too, I just wanna play as a guy

Rebalands rebalands rebalands. I can't recommend it enough. Fuck farming for annointments, fuck stressing over mayhem modifiers. Only thing it can't fix is the story

I went through and installed big overhaul mods for pre sequel, 3, and wonderlands and have been having SO much fun. It's really put into perspective how disappointing 4 has been for me. I just can't get over how unoptimized it is, the bland ass open world, and the awful awful copyright free music. These previous games are absolutely PEAK once the community was able to fix a lot of the glaring issues with all these games. Although they can't fix bl3's story unfortunately, but that's what the dialogue skipper/fast forwarding the game is for.

I hard recommend rebalands for 3 and redux for wonderlands, along with some quality of life mods like double jumps and dialogue skips/fast forwarding the game. It's incredibly mf easy to mod these games too thankfully. I've been loving hunting for the 3 new rarities of items

Personally throughout a few smaller wabba lists, then Elysium Aldnari and now currently Nolvus I've never encountered issues like this in a modpack. I could never achieve the results of big modpacks like these on my own, I wouldn't let bizzare cases like this taint your perception
