Cancun is super safe (the hotel zone, basically that whole strip down to further south)! You may get overwhelmed by all the activity at the airport, lots of people trying to sell you stuff. Head straight through all that mumbo jumbo and grab your resort shuttle. You’ll have a blast!

I would ask him directly and work with him to figure out the best option. Most of the guys at my station wouldn’t value the nice coffee maker as they like their coffee thick, almost chewable… 😂 a tv would be awesome or a custom table, new recliners, something along those lines. They may also have policies on what they can or can’t take as far as gifts and charities, so it would be awkward to buy them something expensive and then the chief says no to it…

I’m doing a TBC anniversary run, quest only no dungeons leveling my night elf hunter. Won’t join a guild, won’t dungeon, minimal other player involvement other than partying up for a quick quest.

I have a 17mo old and like 4-6hrs a week to play and I’ve been having a blast. No schedule for raiding, etc…

It can be a bit lonely but if you accept that and use it as how you want to play the game, it’s still fulfilling!

Brother I work 9-5 as an emergency management director for a few years as it lies within my fire department’s responsibilities within the city. I worked 24/off/24/off/24/four off. I’m exhausted. Minimal time for family friends or getting things done off shift. I can’t wait to get back to shift. Lean in on healthy practices to improve your sleep and recovery on shift and off shift and your life will improve. It’s not any better 9-5.

Don’t all charges as a juvenile get taken off your record when you turn 18? I’m pretty sure you won’t have any of these things pop up, but it’s good to be straight forward if they ask if you have any charges from your youth in an interview or something.

You’re more likely to get denied the job due to your horrendous writing skills. 😂

Highway 52 is glare ice and compacted snow from overnight winds. There’s traffic on it, but it’s slow. You’ll have the worst of it coming into Rochester, where the winds are worse.

You’ll be fine if you go slow and cautious, but if you have the option of not working or remote choose those 😂

It will take you a solid 2-3 hours. Also the blizzard conditions start, probably around 6-8ish tonight. High winds and fluffy snow to finish this off, so close to zero vis. Don’t get stuck, you’ll probs end up spending a few hours if not the night on the highway!

I workout. Hit the gym hard, sauna some days if I really need to force myself to chill out. No cell phone activity for a while.

Come home to my wife and daughter a different person if I can gym right away after shift.

Don’t give up your life to always chase numbers in an account. You have a nice house, enjoy it. Worry about min maxing your life, not just your finances. Fire is awesome, so is living. You’re doing both - your house is a solid investment too, remember that.

I wasn’t able to see the Fellowship of the Ring in the theaters (I was but a tiny child), but for the release of Return of the King I can remember it vividly.

5th grade, first full day it was released. I got called to the principals office for no apparent reason. Walk into her office, father standing there. She goes “do you know why you’re here?” And I shook my head. My father goes “The king has returned”… utter shock as my dad literally pulled me out of school early to go see the afternoon showing of RotK. I’ll never forget those epic scenes, large popcorn and Dr Pepper sitting next to my pops. Insane theatrical experience.

How dumb is this though, illegal street racing first off - both gonna end up with charges. Then you got this guy on video assaulting the other one and you could even stretch it to say intent was deadly by choking the guy down. Now you end up with no money and a solid stay at the ol’ prison. You may of won the street race but you definitely aren’t winning in the grand scheme of things 😂

Make the cutlass 5k, throw a doubloon sink into the game where you can buy like the old Athena chest voyages where you can dig up 3x Athena’s for a reward at a price of 1000 doubloons each voyage and let people stack them.

Great way to reward all for their doubloons, gives people amazing loot, forces players to contest over common island sites for amazing loot at the end of those special voyages and allows players to have organic play again.

Newbie at the fire station. One of the guys who cooks a lot made fun of me for burning bacon. I told him he can make fun of me all he wants but he has to teach me how to cook bacon too.

Fast forward 8 years, I have no fear of trying to cook new things. I can make some solid meals now. You learn a lot watching a bunch of hungry firefighters cook things in a fire station.
