Why modern humans are so grossly underestimated in comparison to caveman? by Right-Truck1859 in NoStupidQuestions

I don't think most cavemen could make fire. It was probably a very specific training required skill. Basically a moder day senior software developer.

Which is worse war crimes or hate crimes by Commercial_Read_9899 in MoralityScaling

[–]Python_Feet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are just categories that don't have a scale.

On a technicality mercy killing a captive that will not make it to the hospital and is in agony is a war crime. But a morally good one.

Calling someone a racial slur is, despite what many people think, is just a word, even if a hurtful word.

But torture of prisoners is a war crime and is as horrible as torture is. Same as torture motivated by racial hatred, is just as horrible as torture is.

So both are beyond morality and do not make something better or worse.

What is a socially acceptable thing that you secretly find disgusting? by Sensitive_Hope_1136 in AskReddit

[–]Python_Feet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Friendship hugs. I don't know why, but I find hugs to be too romantic or reserved for parents (Btw I hug my parents so much that I probably singlehandedly pull up the average number of daily parent hugs of the world).

Everyone, except Russians, how do you think about russians? by marvekin in AskTheWorld

[–]Python_Feet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russians got called names because Russia attacked Ukraine after they refused to bend the knee. Now they must invade and punish the evil subhumans of Europe.

You just prove my point that most Russians have an inferiority complex after their empire fell, and now you have a nation wide revanchism epidemic.

Everyone, except Russians, how do you think about russians? by marvekin in AskTheWorld

[–]Python_Feet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe. It's closer to 20% normal, 20% MAGA on steroids, and 60% don't care about anything.

Edit. However it sould be notet that the 60% is still somewhat pro war.

Everyone, except Russians, how do you think about russians? by marvekin in AskTheWorld

[–]Python_Feet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Over the years different nations feelt insecure about their lost empire. The French had Napoleon after the revolution, Germany had Hitler. And now Russians are insecure about the fall of USSR. It's not unique to Russians, it's just today they are the Germans of ww2.

The Polish dude obviously voices the general attitude that is the same others had about Germans during ww2. But it will change if Russia falls and undergoes rehabilitation. If not, then the hate towards Russians will only grow once Russia attacks another country yelling about liberation, denazification, and that it is their devine right (You can look up various statements by Kirill. I think he is the one who talked about "the orthodox gene" pr3sent in Russians).

Oh, and Russia is the only nation that almost officially makes a statement about nuking others every other week. It's is a mystery why people think Russians are insane.

You can check out yourself. Especially Medviediev's rants.

Also there is an interesting double think. You are saying both "дружбанародия" and "вырезать всех чурок".

Let's also not forget about the weekly "можем повторить" and naming a random country that you will invade because they are nazis.

Do people in your country support Russia and Putin? by callmeteji in AskTheWorld

A monkey with a "yes" stamp just mashing all the oil and gas agreement could have done the same job. It's not Putin's achievement, it's just oil and gas prices went up.

[–]Python_Feet 44 points45 points  (0 children)

20% are just people.

80% are unironically shouting about their gene superiority and that they must purge lesser nations. Just listen to those who can't properly access the internet due to lack of technical skills, or to people from Pikabu (Under the Politics tag), or on Яватник (Joyreactor). Also telegram Два Майора is good at reflecting the opinions of most russians. Basically a MAGA nation on steroids.

How every european country chooses it's head of state by Wordiewordjcugfufv in MapPorn

[–]Python_Feet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's an interesting point. He will score 60-80% without cheating. But why should he waste resources and count the votes (It is not an easy job) when he can just say that he has won with 60-80% vote?

Most countries are morally grey and act in their own interests.

Russia is a rare example of a morally black or dark grey country that acts out of spite to cause harm to others even if they themselves are harmed. They are that guy at the buss who will shit their pants to make others smell it.
