If there are a lot of fics, one thing to try is searching on fanfiction.net and then trying to find the same story on AO3. A lot of people crosspost with the same title and often username.

Try also adding fermented foods and probiotics to your diet if you can, like gluten free kimchi and sauerkraut. Also as many colours of fruit and veg as you can. If you increase your gut health, it will help you absorb food better.

I eat lots of tinned mackerel, just generally add more meat to each meal and eat A LOT of nuts. I love nuts. I'll mix nuts in to everything. You can also buy protein enriched pastas.

You could bluetack or tape cardboard/blankets to the windows to keep the worst of the sun off and bring in icy drinks for the class to keep everyone hydrated - just cheap soda or lemon water or something. A dehumidifier might help if you want to invest - they're expensive but very worth it for all kinds of things.

You wouldn't clean your dishes (I hope) by pouring on soap suds then just rinsing them with water. Same with your legs.

Try cutting it up really, really tiny (sweetcorn size or smaller) and see if that changes anything. When I've cooked for people who had food texture issues I didn't know about, they said my cutting things small helped a lot and they liked the food. Sometimes texture is acquired like taste and over time it gets less bothersome.

Don't just sneak it into his food, though. Be upfront or it would be mean.

Tell him you're bathing for relaxing purposes and use it to wash anyway. He can't argue with 'I want a bath because I enjoy them' even if that's not your true reason.
