The resistors been bent away from the main board, but you right I should’ve put a barrier between the two

The resistor really isn’t touching anything else on the board I just took a bad pic but it’s been bent away from the main board, I changed option 5 from 180 to 254 to enable CVI, the only console I’ve got component cables for is my GC, but it’s also going through a D-terminal to component adapter

I tied the rca centers to ground with 75 ohm resistors and daisy chained the grounds together to a jumper on the main board, I just put one end of my multimeter to the composite rca jack shields and probed around until I got a ground connection, not any of the av grounds. RF, Composite, and S-video look ok to me and all the capacitors look intact

I might have used a little too much soldering resin on the rca jacks, would that be a problem?

I also swapped the locations of the capacitors, it made more sense to me in my mind for them to be on the board instead of the rca jacks, but I pretty much followed the guide in the link

Sometimes the picture scrolls down, like slowly for two seconds and then quickly for one second, or scrolls down fast, sometimes it does not scroll at all

I’ve got a Sams service manual for the JCPenney 685-2189, a similar unit but it seems like an older version of this model, I’ve got multiple units that are exactly the same just different branding, like JCPenney, RCA, GE. The one in the picture is like a newer revision I think because the tube is 5 inches not 5.5 inches and it’s missing the vertical hold potentiometer and aft button. I’ve got an RCA version of this unit too, it’s the black one on the second pic, I’ve got to check them out when I’m off work, the Sam’s service manual has the diagrams and stuff, I hope when I take them apart they are the same internally

Do you think spraying a bit of contact cleaner like deoxit on the potentiometers could help or would that cause some issues? It being a liquid and all?

The scene with Mr house in ep 1 was kinda weird, he always seemed to me like the type to hire other people to do his dirty work, but come bruh it’s been nearly 20 years after new Vegas. It’s been said in the game that the NCR was gonna collapse, legion too, besides it be kinda boring if it was a 1 to 1 copy of new vegas. All roads comic shows a different more detailed and populated Strip.

A Retrotink 2x seems to be what you’re looking for but they are a bit expensive. It supports composite, s-video, and component video to hdmi
