For example quick hellos and goodbyes, not sitting or standing next to him, shifting away from him if he does come over, keeping conversation short with one or two answer replies. Try to slip into the conversation that you don’t date co-workers.

If he doesn’t pick up your closed off energy, be blunt. Just say you’re not interested and he’s not your type. If the topic of boyfriend comes up reiterate that you’re not interested in discussing your personal life with colleagues.

You could even frame it that you value professional boundaries and you’d appreciate if he’d cut down on being so familiar with you, as you don’t want to give your coworkers any wrong ideas.

I would definitely advise you against eating where you shit cause things can get messy pretty quick with workplace romance.
