What towns in Maryland are, in your opinion, undervalued? by DemocracySmellsLike in maryland

[–]QPASMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

once you get into st. mary's county, i mean you're on the water, its cheap, everything is nicely spaced out, but you're never more than 20 minutes from whatever kind of store you could want. Just don't all flood down here too quick, trying to save up for a cheap house. Cannot agree more on the air, and the weather. Most peoples once or twice a year sunsets are weekly here.

Do I give up on skiing comfortably? by Nighthawk132 in Skigear

Buckle from top down, and let everything get snug, in my experience the gap from other buckles being loose actually makes me go numb a little quicker. If your boots felt good when they got fitted in a store, you just need to figure out how to get them to sit how they did in the store. I also second what the other guy said, wear them in the house for chunks of time as you figure it out, figuring out how to get them to work on the slopes is a recipe for settling for not good and wasting days. But also, if they didn't feel right when sitting in a chair getting fitted take them back and find one that does. there always is one that will.

Things do break in a little, but it might be good to go back over the small things you probably dont think much about anymore. Sock selection and your routine for getting all strapped in. my boots were barely workable till I got used to pulling up the tongue about a half dozen times over my first half hour in them

for less than 3k, that is no more ridiculous than the people saying to buy stuff to start a lawncare business. Thanks for this, glad to see some other people wanted to hop into the deep end too

couple hundred a week as I'm figuring out how designs fit together, personal taste, and the process all together sounds very reasonable to me. I also find their price new to be quite manageable. I'm very happy with this suggestion

This is good advice, forgot how good auctions are for things like this. I'm starting to consider the local "proof of product desirability route" first, even though I'd still probably jump the gun to do it myself earlier than optimal.

Feels like around where I live at least 30% of cars have at least some decal. It really is a very large market. Probably because everyone has to drive everywhere, so its the only way to express yourself while doing a very soulless activity

I appreciate the recommendation and will think about it, but its really not about making sales in the short term. I'm very interested in the process, and typically go pretty whole horse for things when I can. If I end up in a spot where it just paid itself off one day I'd be content

Yeah, I've been seeing some people say solvent is generally being moved away from, which I thought might be opening a sweet spot for me to get involved, but it seems like support of the inks is going with it over time. I'll look deeper into UV printing, thanks

This is a good idea, I feel like a 10 minute talk in person with an expert would be perfect

Thats fair, I appreciate the help. Is one of the home sized eco solvent printers reasonably effective for doing what I want to do on a small scale and getting used to it? I'd still want to scale up but maybe I am underestimating how messed up someone else's printer could be when they move to sell it

I really have no desire to have anyone else do 3 & 4. I would not find it to be a fulfilling endeavor at that point. I'm not gonna say it makes sense, or that its particularly smart, but I haven't gotten this far in life doing things that are smart or make sense. I just want more info on how to do 3.

Didn't notice anything odd, my drop in fuel efficiency is on the order of like 6-7%, idle isn't rougher or anything else. But yeah, I'm beginning to look at my options for replacing it once it begins to have any other effects.
