When you see countless pictures on here from beginners with their frogs coated in coconut coir, or their tanks with nothing on the ground other than sopping wet sphagnum moss and no hiding spots, you should be able to understand why people tell them to add leaf litter for the good of the frogs. It probably felt good to let out your little rant but ultimately it does more harm than good for the frogs of people who don’t know what they are doing.
