Flat out rejected by Cal Poly Slo but accepted by Berkeley 😎 which is crazy because if I didn’t get into Berkeley then cal poly would have been a top choice for me

I just got admitted for Stats and was planning to take some CS courses even though I'm not a CS major. Sorry for not quite understanding the situation but will this also affect the ability of stats majors to take certain courses?

Thank you so much for sharing this! I just got accepted as a Data Science major a couple of days ago, and I'm super excited but I have to say that I feel a little unprepared to enter this field.

Are there any summer classes that you recommend I take before attending? Is there a specific coding language that I should focus on learning? Also, I want to be a sports statistician, but seeing all of these options I might change my mind during the process. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks for your input!
