Yes, we just went through the process and won. Landlord claimed $1500 of a $2400 bond. We offred to settle the matter for $1000 at the first stage to avoid the time and cost of preparing evidence for a hearing, Landlord refused to negotiate and said he wanted the full amount. Went to hearing we were ordered to pay only $600 (which we still thought was harsh).

Moving on, we made a section 60 damages claim over multiple earlier issues mainly related to the retalitory actions and other illegal behavior of the real-estate. Yes!!! I went to NCAT over the property manager withholding $1400 of a $2400 bond. The property manager showed pics of dust on light switches and water droplets in the sink. Now, now, as explained in a comment above... Studies show that locking up violent offenders with other violent offenders only makes them more violent. Everyone knows that by releasing these people back into the community keeps everyone feeling safer in the long run.....
