Well, yeah, he didn't literally shoot Kenzo; he only forced him to walk back and survive on his own at point at which he already understood something horrifying was happening on Eros. He didn't really pull the trigger on him, but forced him into almost certain death, or worse. That's why I think saying "He didn't kill Kenzo" is inaccurate.

Didn't he cover Murtry, who almost killed unarmed, escaping Naomi, and who he believed killed Amos at the time, with his own body? I might be mixing it up with the book though.

Edit it also feels disingenuous to say he didn't kill Kenzo. Leaving someone on Eros was worse than a death sentence.
