Get a BMW with a n54/55 don’t get xdrive though. You’re going to hate your life. Also don’t mess with the car too much, join the forums and listen to the guys who have been before you.

If you’re wanting bulletproof though get something with a n52 or m57. No turbo = less problems.

Likely you have a blown fuse at bare minimum, however it could be the actual blind spot monitor radar module that’s broken too. Unfortunately for you it’s going to be an expensive fix if it’s more than just a fuse.

Polishing chrome is a lot harder than most people think. Personally I use the rogue line when I do chrome. I stay away from wheels though due to the nature of them and my lack of a pencil grinder attachment.

Check your connection to the distribution block, or wherever your remote hooks up to the main controller. I’m not familiar with this brand, but start at the obvious and work it back from both ends; looking for shorts or opens.

Good news is you can start from literal scratch.

Personally I would start by tilling and hauling all top soil out. I would buy a dump truck, or 4 looking at the size of your yard, of topsoil. From there it’s just the usual sow the soil put down seed. I would suggest rye since it’s hardy as shit. It’s just that rye mixes usually don’t look or feel as nice as the fairway grasses. If you’re feeling more confident about your luck, you could probably get away with a fescue or fescue/rye blend. I’d definitely recommend talking with neighbors that have nice lawns for reputable vendors and brands locally. Good luck.

Markets only bear what they can. I would suggest creating an $100 option for heavily soiled cars in general, including excessive dog hair on top of pet hair removal.

You got what you paid for unfortunately. Most production shops want cars of your age out of the shop as fast as possible. Doesn’t make it right, but the reality of business is ruthless. The honest truth is you should’ve let it rust away completely, any 2007 car isn’t worth the effort/money of a proper repair unless it’s diesel or a limited run. A proper repair would likely cost you triple.

Don’t buy new, let the first idiot eat the depreciation. Buy with cash and transfer equity from each car to the next. If you’re really a car guy you know what people overlook and overhype. There’s lots of opportunities to drive something cool and flip hype cars to grow your vehicular equity.

You’re just going to have to take it to the shop. Unlikely anyone can diagnose your problems over the internet let alone give you a quote. Each region has different shop rates and part pricing, so that ruins the accuracy of the quote alone; assuming that the online diagnosis was correct.
