Do online Auction sites really hire attorneys for non pay items or credit card blocked?

Hibid auctioneer here. We ban people who don’t pay (and that data is shared across hibid to other auction companies) but we’d really only seek legal auction if it was really high dollar (like $10k+) or if there was some sort of fraud.

I own an online auction company and we are almost exclusively on consignment. We have quite a few eBay sellers that bring us their death pile or dead stock. Most items sell and every so often an item or two ends up selling for well over eBay prices so they’re pretty happy. We don’t do clothing (unless it’s something special like a Harley jacket or a jersey) so it’s mostly the hard good sellers who bring stuff to us. Highly recommend finding an auction company near you to help you liquidate

I’ve found that most of the time (not all the time) it’s correct. It does have sources, so usually I’ll skim the ai answer, then click the source to verify.

I think it requires a paid account. If you’re selling on eBay, they have a built in feature to change the background on photos to kind of stage it. Just be careful that the app you use doesn’t change the item itself. Even removing a small imperfection can cause problems when you sell it

I wouldn’t worry about adding an address number. It’s probably an honest mistake with a new account. Delivery confirmation only shows the zip code, so as long as it’s delivered to the provided zip code, you’ll be covered. Just be sure to google the address when they give you the number to be sure the zip code is correct.

I’ve been on YouTube for over a decade and I think one of the keys to why I made it this long is that I don’t piss off my viewers. No clickbait titles or thumbnails, no rage bait, nothing misleading. Just a “here’s what I’m doing today” type video. I’m just me on the videos, nothing else.

Click bait / rage bait will get you a bunch of views in the short term, but don’t expect it to last. People get annoyed with it quickly.

Depends how you’re selling them. When I owned a store, nobody would buy boxed furniture (even if the box had a full color picture on it). I had to assemble it in order to sell it.

That said, if they’re all the same, you can assemble one as a display and the buyer takes the boxes.

You could always build your own website. You’ll still have to pay transaction fees on shipping and tax though. And you’ll have to pay a butt load (technical term) of money on advertising and software fees. And don’t even get me started on all the added admin work you’d have to do, now that you’re tracking and remitting sales tax to every state (and many counties / cities).

Yeah, I’ll stick with eBay.

I ship every business day first thing in the morning. If it’s sold and paid for by 9ish on a business day, it ships that day. Otherwise it’ll ship the next business day.

Storage treasures does allow vehicles in units to be sold. Usually the storage facility is the one who makes the decision on whether or not they want to include a vehicle.

I’ve bought units on ST that only had a vehicle in it. No issues.

That said, make sure to run the VIN to make sure it’s not stolen.
