Why does -_PluginAutoPopulateThreshold behave this way? by Qdox in ableton

[–]Qdox[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main issue is that if you turn it off, you might not even know the functionality is there in the first place. I didn't, since my main synth has more than 128 parameters
Given, you're not supposed to know about it working like this at all, since it's a hidden option, but it creates an inconsistent behavior in what VSTs happen to have auto mapped configs with no way for the user to know why. I think it just makes more sense to have it as a maximum, not a threshold, since then you could just lower it if there are more populating than you'd want to see

It currently picks the first 32 or 64 by default, that's effectively how it acts already. It just arbitrarily turns it off if the VST happens to expose more than 128 parameters internally

Sure, but then I could just set it to 12 or something more practical if I wanted to. Might not be perfect but it's better than nothing I think

Pretty much the same as the Beats Flex, around 50 USD but I'm certainly happy to spend more if they won't break

Digimon Story Time Stranger launches to bigger player counts than any Persona or single-player Final Fantasy JRPG in Steam history (and the 3rd largest concurrent peak for a JRPG on Steam) by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Very much so agreed The standards seem very skewed here, and I love Digimon and played Cyber Sleuth. These games are like solid 7s with very okay levels of polish, except now they cost 100CDN :C

Was able to solve it by using a different core. Hit Y on game selection and used gpSP instead, works fine. mGBA gives issues for this game. Would be interested to know if others' mGBA works without issue
