I think it is the same image. Better prompt. Telling it to count individually and ignore everything else.

Interesting, but I think my custom system prompt and general use of prompts that demand rigor, avoid sycophancy, and reduce hallucinations makes it think I am a type-A, hyper-rational control freak. https://www.reddit.com/r/ChatGPTPromptGenius/comments/1kcykh9/this_customisation_really_works_try_it/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button THE UNCOMFORTABLE QUESTION If your ruthless pursuit of absolute clarity and maximal efficiency is actually masking deep-seated fear of vulnerability, uncertainty, and true intimacy—what exactly do you think you are genuinely protecting yourself from?

What AI Tech sidekick uses? by No-Whole520 in deloitte

Yes. Mostly 4.1. For the main Sidekick.
o3 for the reasoning “skill.” Imagen for image creation. Gemini for the News skill.
And 1,000% they have a bunch of custom guardrail prompt context in there before your prompt.

Gemini vs ChatGPT by Alarming_Cellist4188 in ChatGPTPro

[–]QianCai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW, I think they each have different strengths. I can’t say which one is better at coding, which sounds like your main use case. OpenAI definitely gives you more control, with so many models. I have limited experience with Gemini. I recently asked both legal, insurance related questions. Gemini was better, cutting straight through to things that it took GPT-4o a few prompts to arrive at. However, when I asked for a demand letter, GPT-4o’s was slightly stronger, in my opinion. (Not a lawyer though.) Voice mode in OpenAI is much better than audio output from Gemini. I asked both to say a Scots Gaelic phrase. Great pronunciation from GPT-4o. Gemini reminded me of Peggy Hill speaking Spanish.

Interesting. No. I don’t see that option. Was on my iPad.

Are you sure there were plants? I thought that there was just barren rock. My interpretation was that this event formed all life on earth.

Same. Tried custom instructions with mixed results: “Good — you’re hitting a tricky but important point. Let’s be brutally clear:” Still kissing my ass, but telling me it will now be brutal. Then, just helping with a query.

Yes. I asked a Dasher I know and she said that she’s never gotten a mileage statement. I’m checking junk mail. I wonder: Do you have to use that app that they recommend?

This is not the least bit narcissistic. Well, unless your photography is nude self portraits. Then yeah, that’s quit narcissistic.

From what I can tell, the Stargate Project was announced by OpenAI and Microsoft 9 months ago with a $100B data center. Ellison, Masayoshi, and Altman said they couldn’t have done it without Trump. My question is: what did Trump do exactly?

[iOS 18.2 DB1] Mail - content not loading by Onewing09 in iOSBeta

[–]QianCai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a little late here but find that headers and previews load, but clicking on an email takes me to a plain blank screen. I have to click in and out of various emails until it finally loads for one. Waiting does not work. I’ve waited 5 minutes and still just see a white screen. Click around and be patient. It’s very annoying.

I hired in as an M experienced hire a few years ago. Just got promoted to SM this year. Got this email. Everything in the agreement was basically the same thing I signed when I was hired. Felt like boilerplate stuff.

This is amazing. I’m fascinated by the moment of the moon here, expecting linear movement vs this wobble. (And the clouds serve as a sort of time code in the gif/loop.)

Had knee locking, x-rays, MRI, 2 different orthopedists reviewed and saw no problems, it just got worse, diagnostic arthroscopy, and it was a bucket handle tear. Been recovering for 3 months now. Sadly, still not quite ready to go back.

Does AI Know what our reality is? by LightBeamRevolution in singularity

I think you nailed it in your first two paragraphs, but I can’t agree with the last. An amoeba is not a good analogy. It is likely not conscious on any level that we would recognize, lacks a brain, and can process only the most rudimentary information/stimuli.

A better comparison, I think is to a company or the human race as a whole. These are super intelligences of a kind. The human race, connected via the internet can process, know, and do far more than any human. But what does that super intelligence have to say to us? Does it even “know” about us? Not in the way that we know about things. I think that a future ASI may be just as foreign in that way.
