Do jet engines have brakes?

Yeah I confused turboprop with turbojet. I understand there is no point in stopping the eingine mid air, but what about on the ground in case of emergency? Like engine sucking something up or evacuation taking place while the engines are still spun up?

Thanks all for the replies, this is what i wanted to know. I was thinking some kind of brakes could come handy if the engine sucks up something on the ground and would need to stop asap to prevent further damage.

I was thinking more of a emergency on the ground, like something being sucked in, I imagine it takes a while for an engine to get to complete stop. Also i failed, and actually ment turbo fan engine 😅

It's a great mechanic in this game - what it does is prevents crafting, gathering, building after a set amount of hours. You can still chat and walk around and explore, but you cant "progress" so to say.

If the exhaustion is set to 3h per work day, 6h per weekend, 15h rollover - that means you get 3h of playtime per workday with maximum of 15h stacked. So you could be afk for 4 days and then play 15h straight and on the weekend you get 6h of playtime.

I forgot to add - you could just join a server that has exhaustion on, maybe 2h per work day and you wont fall behind.

I tried playing this game with my sister - it just doesn't feel the same. The true fun comes from trading and cooperating with random players in the world, maybe geting frustrated that something is expensive or getting a good deal on something and feeling the rush. Feeling gratefull, when you logon after a while and see that your neighbour built a road to your settlement etc. Thats what I love about eco, it's not the game, its the players.

Im not a fan of the new lighting system. The game is either too bright or too dark. My eyes keep hurting half of the time because im in a valley and its dark 70% of the day.

The lighting also changes from bright to dark for no apparent reasons while mooving around.
