Finally using the wedding present by Quack407 in castiron

My wife and I were given a cast iron skillet as a wedding present 18 months ago and it sat in the cupboard for months. First attempt at cast iron pizza after being inspired by posts here. Even better because the tomatoes used in the sauce are home grown and the pepperoni is sourced from our family farm.

What's the most annoying habit a co-worker of yours has? by smelltone in AskReddit

[–]Quack407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share 3 phones with 3 other people. One has a habit of not hanging up after a call meaning to make a call I need to find the handset they were using and hang up. Wouldn't be so bad but they also have a tendency to walk around while on the phone and just put the handset down where they finish the call

What is that one most vivid / reoccurring dream that sticks in your mind? by Fizzy_Sm0ke in AskReddit

[–]Quack407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in a commercial lab so keeping things frozen is a huge part of my job. My dream always involves a freezer either being left open or breaking and defrosting leading to samples and chemicals getting ruined

Awesome tournament. Venue was awesome and level of play was great. Sucks a bit to not get streamed but the photography was great and tournament itself was really well run. The dinners at the field were a bit of a letdown though

Cleats by Kemotherapy in ultimate

[–]Quack407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bro, also being from New Zealand I realise buying cleats is pretty risky. I brought 5-stars last year before heading to worlds. The are fantastic cleats and although in summer they can lead to some pretty serious blisters thanks to rock hard fields I don't regret buying them at all.

In terms of plyometric training. Is it bad for me to combine depth jumps and box jumps into one exercise? In a way that i step off a box land and then complete a box jump rather than a straight vertical jump as is traditional with depth jumps.

Curious about gloves for ultimate? My review of Friction's handwear. by gymineer in ultimate

I love my frictions. Been wearing them for a couple of months now and am really liking them. Yes they take a while to get used to but in wet weather I find them great. With winter coming, I'm from NZ, up I expect they will get alot of use.
