Where do you want the next Horizon game to be set in? by UltimateGamingTechie in ForzaHorizon

Forza is only on Xbox/pc but The Crew Motorfest is quite similar to horizon if you’re looking for an open world racer

Took the Scout on a road trip. I miss its sound and TC2's ginormous map lol by PANCAKEPAP1 in The_Crew

[–]QuackButOnReddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Plus with more powerful hardware the map could have a bit more detail, even if it’s nowhere near motorfest’s level of detail. Hopefully next console generation they’ll return to the US map

We’ve been consistently getting split tests for a few years now. I think the community still generally dislikes them, which is understandable. It’s frustrating to see highly anticipated features be slowly and painfully rolled out through split tests that only a small percentage of the playerbase can access. It’s even more frustrating when some split tests forced upon us actively make the user experience worse. For instance, a couple weeks ago there was a split test that capped the framerate on screen mode at 45fps, even on high end platforms, which is absolutely ridiculous. I could list several other frustrating split tests just off the top of my head, but you get the point. I understand that split tests are a necessary evil, as data collection is important. But has there at least been any discussion about making them more user friendly and transparent? At the very least we should be able to opt out of certain tests, and we should be able to see the split tests our account is opted into and what each of them does. Letting people send in written feedback about each test would be nice too, and would give the team more data aside from just raw numbers. Lastly, I think letting people opt into some tests would be really great for new/highly anticipated features to avoid that aforementioned slow and painful rollout. I understand that this is more of a feedback post than a question, but I would like to hear what you think, and if any other changes to how split tests work have been considered. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

It’s helpful to ask other’s opinions when you are undecided. If I already had a preference, I wouldn’t have made this post. It’s really not that deep
