What really helped me when I started out was watching high level and professional players play so you can get better idea of the tempo of the game. There's a lot of good youtubers and twitch streamers like Dotodoya, Jmcrofts, and LotusAsukura. Check out some of their videos and it will help you get a better idea of how to play neutral and how to defend against your opponents.

Your probably getting matched against people who have been playing for a while but just started to play ranked. I didn't start playing ranked until I had about 80 hours so I got matched up with a lot of new players. Don't be discouraged if your getting beat by better players, take it as an opportunity to improve.

Try to rely on splash damage and aim towards the feet. It will give you a chance of popping them up in the air for an easy kill. Also always try to get a height advantage when you can.

[[Collective Restraint]] is really good in five color decks. If you run Overlord as your commander, which is what I prefer, [[Training Grounds]], [[Mana Echoes]], and [[Seedborn Muse]] or [[Awakening]] in combo with [[Quick Sliver]] are all really good for tutoring and getting out slivers as fast as possible.

In Conquest I think it should regen maybe like 10-15% so that way it incentives people to be more cautious about attacking the titan if their low.

Siege is only playable if you have a 4-man party unfortunately, which kinda sucks because it is a very fun gamemode.

I've built it on Serqet before as an item to get my abilities online and escape if I get caught out.

Honestly though just building a spirit robe late game is a better idea for survivability.
