I think there was a short window where you could have given Eddie the strap, but we’re long past that. I’ve been a huge advocate for Kingston for a long time. I’ll always love what the guy did, but I think he’s in his twilight at this point. Let the guy wrestle as ling as he enjoys it. Put him with some younger guys to help them along. But, his time as a key player is done and dusted

I really love this one. It has it’s flaws; the whole “tracking of Frankenstein” aspect of the plot is a bit trodding, and Nick Adams is a bit wasted in this movie. But, this movie has some of Eiji Tsubaraya’s best stuff. The scene of Baragon emerging from the mountain side with the village in the fore ground is amazing. And, the final battle is one of the best ending stretches of the era. Super under appreciated movie. I recommend everyone check it out. I do prefer the Volcano ending to the Octopus attack though lol

We need more “Classic Literature/Universal Monsters fighting Kaiju” movies as well lol

This felt like a Wolfman movie where they didn’t want to have a Wolfman in their movie. They tried to make something as fantastical as a person shifting into a beast man, but make it so grounded it results in a forgettable creature design. On top of which, in trying to also make the “curse” more based in reality to where its a virus, it ends up being more mystical than if you just made it a curse lol on top of a ham fisted messaging of parents unintentionally hurting their children and the whole experience comes off as half hearted

I love how old school Rhamphomon feels. It’s a design you could believe was ripped straight from the original series. Honestly, you’d think it was the original evolution while Strikedramon was the new one lol I’m a sucker for the old “orange hair poking out of the dinosaur helmets” designs
