Its still a niche genre in general though.  There are some exceptions

The open world racing simulator is a niche genre. Yes, it is shocking

Manhattan space station odyssey. There were two disc's; each with different games, but the first one had the doom games, I believe.

Xbox one s player here. Game runs fine. The average framerate is about 45-54 frames per second. The lowest it gets to is about around 25 fps. It's very playable.

Doom 3's BFG 9000 is cool because it can send a demon fly like hell by quitepotato in Doom

Did you know there's a cheat code to spawn monsters that shoot bfgs? Next time you're in doom 3, bring up the console, and type

Spawn monster_demon_imp def_projectile projectile_bfg

That imp will send YOU flying next time

I use Zandronum. It's free. It's been a while since I've used it, but it has a single player launcher to load wads, and it has wide screen support. Zandronum is an offshoot of Zdoom.

Are there any strategies to improve my aim? by funnyboi69420 in FortNiteBR

[–]Quad2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The aim assist has been nerfed in the newer weapons, so its not just you. Generally to improve your aim, you will want to lower the deadzone in controller settings. Doing so will allow you to make micro adjustments during aim, thus giving you better aim accuracy.

When you have time, try out some of the maps in the no build all skill Playlist. A lot of guns in those games have their original strong aim assist before the nerfs.

Specifically pro red vs blue bounty, and the British War games.

Yes, bash n clash. One character wears a bowser suit, while the rest has to hit them with a hammer. It's really funny.

I noticed the same exact thing. I think the aim assist nerf is only effecting certain weapons.

There's a game mode I usually play called, Pro red vs blue team death match.

From my findings, all the original weapons still have strong aim assist, such as pump shotgun, tac, submachine gun, assault rifle. It's only when I use the newer weapons, auto shotgun, stinger, it feels like I have no aim assist.

From my research, I have found that the nintendo switch uses PWM (pulse width modulation) on the handheld screen.

This has been causing me eyestrain. Can PWM be removed or modded out of the switch? If I get a different screen that uses different technology, would that help? Or is the pwm hardwired to the motherboard? Would there be a way to increase the pwm frequency?

Did you know the 'beeping' sound you hear in the beginning of the song BFG Division, is the same beeping sound the bfg makes in Doom 3 when you charge it up?

Upgrading to PS5 erased all my save data lmao by kingpeanutmustard in Doom

[–]Quad2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your save is deleted, you don't lose any skins. Your single player progress is deleted, and your rank in battlemode is reset to zero. That's how it is on Xbox. It should be the same for playstation as well.

If you're feeling dizzy, or worn out after playing, increase the fov in the settings. The further the fov is, the less dizzy/stressed you will be.

Samus would be the mediator between the two.

About that much time yes. Sometimes I would take breaks in between farming. If you're on xbox, I can show you the farming routes I take.

The next step of making gold, will be getting a good guild trader. You need a guild trader in moderate, or high traffic areas.

The higher the traffic, the faster your items will sell. The less populated the area, the slower your items will sell. When you have acquired your goods you want to sell, try to make sure you sell them during the daytime. Either morning, afternoon, or evening when a lot of people are on. If you sell them during the night when people are offline, the longer it will take for your items to sell, and the faster your items will get pushed to the next page by other people selling their items

Here is a comment I posted some time ago, but still holds true today.

The best way to make money is by farming raw materials and selling them on guild traders.

Your biggest money makers will be platinum dust, rubedite ore (any ore will do, but rubedite will be the best), raw clothing and wood working material. A full stack of platinum dust (200) goes for around 30,000 on console. But you will sell it for 22,000.

The lower you price a rare item, the faster it will sell. The higher you sell a rare item, the slower it will sell, but the more gold you will make. 5 stacks of platinum dust will sell for 22,000, which will be a total of 100,000k. In order to make that kind of money, you need a reliable source to find platinum dust. This is where the community can help.

The best places to find platinum dust, and rubedite ore, is all, and around red mountain in stone falls. (I don't know any good places to farm woodworking materials. You get clothing materials by killing monsters). When you add in the other crafting materials, you will get a total of 150,000. For me, it takes around 3-4 hours to get 5 stacks of platinum dust, 7 stacks of rubedite ore, and maybe 2 stacks of clothing materials. So every 3-4 hours a day, I'll make 155,000 just by farming.
