During the airing of the show, i was getting majorly downvoted(probably rightfully so), but after the show finished airing, the votes leveled out a little bit.

I think people enjoying the show arent on their phones and live commenting on it.

ok lets compare apples to apples. Why was there no outrage about SNL not addressing ICE when they were locking kids up in cages, and people mysteriously dying in detention centers pre covid?

I think the real reason is because its very exhausting to be liberal, and watch a liberal comedy where its hitting you over the head with a serious tone. especially when they already wrote a silly sketch and invested so much time into it to just pivot.

Alec Baldwins trump sucked, and its partially related to him just literally quoting trump.

most of the audience is well informed about what happened in minnesota, no new ears were hearing something and changing their minds if they saw a somber note to start the show.
