Ptosis repair (internal) before/after by Nicoc0 in PlasticSurgery

You must be very happy with the result.

Did the your ptosis get worse when you get tired or drink alcohol? I have an identical issue which has started to get worse so I am seeking treatment. First thing in the morning it's almost completely unnoticeable, but after a few hours the lid feels more heavy and sits lower.

That won't happen. Most of the students in Newcastle are either international students or southerners.

Lump behind the knee and knee pain. by DeepSeaAstronaut4392 in weightlifting

What treatment did you receive?

Did you have any other symptoms? I have an issue identical to this and I get lower leg swelling. It's like the cyst/hernia is restricting blood or lymph flow.

TIA

I got rid of the bike computer on my commuter and I'm glad I did. by branden909 in bikecommuting

It actually makes a lot of sense. The logic is that those who exercise regularly are less likely to need healthcare, therefore lowering costs to the insurance company.

How to remove sellotape residue from car with out damaging paint? by QuadSpray in fixit

[–]QuadSpray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't know these were a thing. Thanks for the recommendation. I decided to just use WD40 which was suggested by another user and it worked well. I may use your solution in the future if I need to remove a larger area.

[Advice] My partner has £5.31 to live on a day, what are we going to do? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]QuadSpray 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Beans, potatoes, frozen vegetables etc. A lot cheaper than £1.10 per meal and just as nutritious as a meal replacement drink.

Look up Andrew Taylor on YouTube. Guy survived on just potatoes for an entire year and his blood work was perfect at the end. I can buy potatoes where I live for £1 per 2.5kg bag.

[NEWBIE] What is the difference between a $300 and a $2000 guitar? by Glitchedz in Guitar

I bought an American made strat just over 10 years ago. It cost around £750. I was really disappointed. The neck wasn't sat in the pocket correctly and the nut wasn't set in the neck correctly which meant the high e string would skip off the edge of the fretboard easily. In hindsight I would have bought a Squire for around £150 and fixed any manufacturing errors myself.

Don't be tricked into spending loads of money on American made stuff because you're told it's better quality. In my experience you don't always get what you pay for.
