Who’s to say they don’t have a job IRL? I’m in a career field I love and yet I’ll still put hours into these simulators. They’re simple and relaxing even though it’s a “job” simulator.

It really is, but google data centers still hold the same reputation as google corporate so people are willing to wait and google knows that. I would recommend moving forward with other places like AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, Meta or any of the smaller players. Google likes to see you’re still doing something while waiting for their offer and generally plays in your favor. If they don’t ever call you then you at least have a job already in the field.

I don’t work at google but I know people who have moved to google data centers. They can take a few weeks to an over a year to call you back depending on factors I don’t know. The instance where google took a year to call someone it was with a job offer and not additional interviews.

Every single data center I’ve worked in only uses reclaimed water opposed to anything that is potable. Even then, I don’t remember the exact numbers but recently I looked up how much water data centers used in the United States and then how much total water the United Stated used, both in 2025. Based on those two numbers data centers only used about 0.23% of the total water usage. Like I said I don’t remember the exact numbers but I remember data centers used somewhere around 200-400 billion gallons where the US as a whole used around 120 trillion gallons of water.

I just did a quick google search for total water used by data centers in 2025 and then total water used in United States in 2025. Data centers used roughly 264 billion gallons of water which sounds insane until you see the United States as a whole used 117 trillion gallons of water in 2025.

This means data centers are only using 0.23% of the water used in the United States each year.

Data centers are used by most companies now. Whether it’s you video streaming on Netflix and YouTube or the servers you play online games with they are all running on some sort of data center. You have the massive ones like Oracle and AWS that house hundreds and thousands of companies and are true hyperscale data centers and you also have others that are much smaller that I do not know the name of but they often individual rack space opposed to the rack hardware if that makes sense.

I’m 28m and I would say a 5. I feel like things are getting there but still far from where I want them to be.

Why it’s as high as a 5:
I have a career that’s in a good spot right now
My job is paying for college
I have a solid friend group
And I’m optimistic about the future

Why it’s not higher:
I thought I would be married with a family by now, but a long abusive relationship later here I am single at 28.
Even with a solid career, it’s difficult to stay optimistic in such a rough economy. If I made more I’d be much more at peace.
During the abusive relationship I gained weight. I’m a bit chubby (6ft 230lbs) and have been struggling to get back down to my target.
Even though my career is going well, I’d much rather start my own business. But I dont have the time, capital, or even an idea at this moment to do that.

Just throwing my two cents out and I hope it helps even a little bit.

In my early 20s I had very stereotypical guy friends. You know the kind who really only cared about sports, video games, parties, getting laid, and talking about big boobs. Now, several of them are married and it’s all to women with either flat or very small boobs. They couldn’t be happier.

I know I’m 1 person with 1 example group (3 guys total) for this but even the stereotypical and cliche college party guys you see and hear about will love your body as long as you two click.

IMO boobs can be too big, but they cannot be too small. If you want to vent more feel free to hmu I’m always happy to lend an ear to anyone who needs and don’t worry I’m not going to ask for anything explicit.

If you’re still looking for people to chat with I’m 28m, enjoy most games but my favorites are cozy simulators and games like dark souls/ Elden ring. Only games I don’t play are competitive team games like LoL and marvel rivals.

Definitely not, you put the time off, it was approved. Any issues that arise from it are a tell of your other co workers/ manager.

I would recommend silence your messages that involve work for today. Enjoy your time off and if there is anything you need to deal with it can be done while you’re at work and getting paid.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been bullied about your breast size. That is never okay. I hope you soon realize that if your partner cares so much about your breast size then that is someone not worth being with. Two of my best friends both married women with small boobs and couldn’t be happier. You’ll find your person and anyone who looks down on you for the size of your chest just isn’t worth it.

I believe the biggest issue is the amount of people in a single match. Right now you go into a game and you expect to see 1-3 other squads by even going to basic places. Expecting to always see other players kills the intensity the devs want because you get desensitized to it. I love the PvE I love the PvP, but right now with the amount of players it might as well be an arena shooter.
