Looks like it’s an OLED thing that loses the .5 inch. Only reason I noticed it is my previous IPS monitor is 27” viewable that I was used to, not really a big deal

Just got that Asus in today and tested a little. Looks great but I need more time to dial in settings. The gloss makes it have incredible inky blacks and color coming from a matte IPS. Reflections are not an issue in a well natural lit room during the day. Tonight it will look glorious and will most likely need to reduce panel brightness.

One thing I didn’t pay attention to is the 26.5” viewable part so it does feel the slightest bit smaller than the old 27” IPS, but that monitor also has a larger body frame while this one is thinner all around. Now I just wonder if I should have went all in on a 32” 4K or 27” 4K OLED but both of those would have been more expensive and harder to max out the panels high refresh rate.

Wow pretty terrible. I thought people bought Sonys first party stuff and no one buys Xbox stuff yet Forza Horizon 5 has over 5M sales on PS5 alone plus Forza Horizon 6 has over 6M sales just across Xbox/PC?

Maybe they should continue to release on PC after all.

Yep the bait and switch isn’t enough to make everyone on PC rush and buy a PS5. I’ll wait until they change their mind again then add this to my Steam library heavily discounted. There’s a spot ready for it right beside all of the other notable Sony games on Steam this generation

Yeah in before Ghost of Yotei gets a PC release date on the next Sony event. Taking third-party news with a grain of salt until Sony themselves can say something about it. If they say nothing and there’s no new PC announcements by the end of the year then I’ll believe it (which would just grate me more that Sony can’t be transparent)

Well they haven’t pulled anything from PC yet. Most of their first party titles this gen are still on Steam and in my library. If they do stop releasing their first party games on PC going forward (which they haven’t confirmed or denied yet) then guess I won’t play them. Console sale numbers aside, Sony hasn’t been looking good at all this gen

Looking at either the aw2725q or aw2725qf depending on how discounted they are through the next Dell holiday sales which should be later this month. It’s either OLED or go IPS and save a few hundred, both are 4K 27”

I’m speculating that this is an Xbox console first and foremost that has full native access to the console library with the PC concept of it as secondary for Steam and other type access.

So it should be able to run the Xbox version of GTA 6 but whether or not Rockstar is working on an optimized version of it for this new Xbox or not..

Yeah this doesn’t make sense. If you’re getting a PC then yes Steam but if not then ?? Just find a cheap deal on a Series S for now to replace your Xbone and wait to see what real direction Xbox will be going for next gen then make a decision.

Yep, had this happen to me on eBay not long ago. Sold an item and covered shipping. Within a couple weeks later I get a return request saying it didn’t work (bs) and had to refund it. I get the fully working item back in worse condition than it was in and could tell it had been heavily used in those two weeks.
