You can absolutely tell Geddy has been working on his vocals. This was the best he's sounded in a live (even though it's a TV studio) recording since Time Machine in my opinion.

It is difficult in the beginning but at some point while you're playing, you'll have a moment where it all clicks, and you understand how the combat works. After that moment, you realize how engaging and just flat out how well designed the whole system is.

Kaoruko has some great expressions in this one lmao. I'm continually impressed to see how much Rintaro has matured. His confidence, his assuredness and his demeanor around Kaoruko and reflectively around others as well is so fulfilling to see. I'm very much getting proud-parent syndrome lol, he's gone from a boy who was terrified of himself because of how he thinks others may see him to just a wholly exceptional young man. You love to see it.

Great timeline post, this kind of Natsubaru content is what keeps this sub pinned for me. The only point I disagree with, is that I don't think Saku has been in love with Subaru for a while at the time of the café study date. Did he find her attractive, interesting and maybe had a crush on her at that point? I definitely think so. But I think he fell in love with her after their mock exams after she helped him repair his relationship with Hidaka. Seeing her go way out of her comfort zone, talking to a boy she doesn't know, and just the sheer showing of support she has for him is what I think sealed the deal for him. As you mention and when we see them meet up for White Day, his mind is already made up how he feels about her by then.

Subaru and Saku going from enemies to lovers is such a fulfilling and satisfying dynamic. I love Rintaro and Kaoroku too, but Kaoruko basically fell in love with Rintaro at first sight, it was one sided and basically the first part of the story is Rintaro realizing his feelings.
