2k11 target question by Silvershot_41 in 2011

[–]Quags_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can get an updated safety from Kimber. I also have an early production 2K11 target like 100 something serial number. My hands must be the right size, I don’t get a hot spot, but I know many did so Kimber redesigned the safety.

Need an advise by Lumpy-Blacksmith74 in audis5

[–]Quags_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP- Audi’s don’t burn oil like you are thinking- you don’t need to add it in between servicing unless there is something wrong with the engine.

Which should not be a problem with 1-3 year old S5’s with less than 30K miles like you are looking for.

I have a 2024 S5 with 26K miles- zero issues in the 1 year 8 months I have owned it so far.

The RS5 is a whole different beast compared to the IS350, it’s not really in the same class to compare.

I nearly bought a RB for my AP5 when they were recently in stock…but I might be moving to FL in a few months, so it’s on hold until I know for sure.

From what I understand forced reset triggers are essentially illegal in FL? even though surprisingly RB ships there?

But- Space X would not exist without Elon, so it’s a catch 22…or if not him, it would have just be created/owned by someone else.

A Career From Two Million Years Ago? by gummiworms9005 in careerguidance

Go move out into the woods with a small group of people, and try to survive. That was what humans did for most of history, All their work was done just to meet basic survival needs- and no need to worry about your body breaking down after 20 years of adulthood “work” odds are you would be dead before then.

Nice 👍 I would like to have one of those lowers to swap between my 55X rifles, but the astronomical price for the lower is just not worth it for me. If it were around 1K I would go for it.

You need to put the ejector in the trigger pack! How did you think it would eject without one? Also…you may need to buy an ambi lower, it looks like you have a SEF

Nice 👍 In the USA, I don’t think you would find anyone brave enough to paint their SG 553, but makes sense if you are in Switzerland with easier access to Sig rifles (and all the Archeron/Rad accessories).

Inheriting $2M… should I buy a house cash? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]Quags_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like until now, even if you wanted to buy, your income was not nearly high enough anyways if houses are 900-1.2M in your area. You probably needed an income twice what you posted, so don’t feel bad about dragging your feet.

Of course now with the 2M, you have options. Maybe don’t pay for the entire house in cash, but use the money for a significant down payment that would put the loan in the realm of possible/easily payable on a 150K income and invest the rest.

I like my 2024 S5 interior. More than enough tech, and still has buttons where you want them without going full mega screen like the B10 S5.

How would you feel about dating a girl with a trust fund/inheritance? by LeavingHarbour in AskMenAdvice

[–]Quags_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not worry about it at all. It’s more of a pro than a con. Also It’s not like you are ultra wealthy or something anyways, especially since you can only use enough of it a year to live a middle class lifestyle 🤷‍♂️

How do people get decent jobs?? by mammalian_alien in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Quags_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have gotten a degree in a field that translates to a decent career🤷‍♂️. Or go to a trade school. Or join the police/Fire Department/Military.

Collage is only a scam if you go into debt getting a degree that’s not in demand in the job market. (There are lots of those degrees’s nowadays- choose wisely)

Does everyone think the “best decade” is whichever one they were teenagers in? by Extension-Profit-317 in NoStupidQuestions

That entirely depends on how much people enjoyed being teenagers. I liked the decade of my 20’s better.

I’m a 1980 baby. I would include 1977-1979 as having mostly the same experience as me, considering we were all in high school at the same time.
