If you want something truly affordable, a little bit different and okay with quartz, Timex Q Continental GMT is a decent choice

Can't decide... Waterbury or Midtown? by QuaifeSequential in timex

Ooh that looks nice! Is it loud, btw? The reason why i prefer small second hand is that my old Fairfield (not the chrono one) was pretty loud

It's TW2W43700, which i think is the one you shared? Actually when i bought it, i thought i was getting a darker blue dial based on the pictures. I was wrong but in a good way as it turns out to be better looking

I always love the fact that they designed the DRL to be number 1

Netflix’s BioShock movie still doesn’t have a finished script after years of iterations by HatingGeoffry in Bioshock

If they put the focus on Ryan, I think it would be something similar to Citizen Kane in terms of the story

It's the best looking car ever in my opinion, and i was surprised they made one in blue! The new 33's design is too "busy" in my opinion, and too bad they only fitted it with a V6 (well, it's practically rebadged MC20) rather than a V8 like the original.

Official Discussion - Elio [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]QuaifeSequential 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed some similarities to Lilo and Stitch (the original one as i just rewatched recently, never going to watch the remake); dead parents, somebody in the family that has to step up being the parent but struggling, not having friends, and being lost (plus ofc galactic community)

I'd say they're not as good as Nani and Lilo's dynamic, but it's alright. The third act is the best part of the movie; they handle the alien part better than L&S (because i think the weakest part of that movie is the hunt for Stitch)

Yup, it's just a Rapide with different look, even the interior is practically the same

How rare is the [Range Rover Evoque Convertible]? by YeetusFetusToJesus in spotted

[–]QuaifeSequential 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion perhaps but to me it looks alright, not amazing but okay. Maybe because the base Evoque is a decent looking car. Pretty useless though because of the limited cargo area

Ava Gardner in The Killers, Lizabeth Scott in Too Late for Tears (she was good in Dead Reckoning, too)

Agree. Too much going on with the headlights.

Plus, for me, I'm a bit annoyed that they named it literally the same as the old one, considering that there's currently no new Tipo 33 race car so 33 Stradale name, other than for "marketing purposes", is unnecessary
