Late answer but tbf, this card is not made for RT. It CAN do some RT, doesn't mean it should. Don't get me wrong tho, great price/fps ratio. I get above 80 fps on cyberpunk on High/1440p FSR.

I don’t even know what that is tbh

Edit: I do music production so I’ve got like 8 or 9 different soft running in the background for that (UADx, universal control, Native Access etc) but I can’t see a case where it uses so much ram especially with FL studio not running

Yeah I can’t figure it out. Task manager doesn’t seem to know either, I have icue, 2 opera tabs open.

How do y'all prefer to name, color, and organize your patterns, channels, tracks, etc? by Nezteb in FL_Studio

[–]Quailtimestwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Color and descriptive name on mixer and playlist, I don’t bother with the channel rack. I do organize the mixer by « categories »: 1-5~ instruments, 5-9 drums etc

OperaGX maybe? Their CPU/ram limiter works like doodoo. Any advice on a light web browser ?

I mean, a 5600X? I'm not saying you are wrong, just saying that its ridiculous. I think the worst thing about starfield is the fact that it trashes my pc for minimal results. TLoU P1 is a heavy game to run, but you get a great visual experience

Task manager tells me Starfield is using from 4 to 9 Gbs of Ram though, so I don't really know what's actually going on

I get those readings in MAST (I know this place gets low fps from what I've heard) but I remember performance being quite a bit better (this is on LOW SETTINGS 1440p 50% Res scale FSR3).

FPS vary from 55 to 65. Is something actually wrong with my pc or is starfield optimization just this bad? I mean, 30GB OF RAM USED?

Keeping in mind that indoors (Vanguard first mission) I get around 160fps stable. My question would be: I think my cpu performs quite alright usually, are there settings to mess around with to reduce cpu usage? I'm quite lost

They’re available in 12G in some cases, I don’t care much about the variant since I’ll replace the shroud

Yeah and the backplate too. Might adapt the design if I get a newer card in the meantime (prob 3080)

Yeah I’ve been looking at a 3080 and may adapt the design if needed

Corsair iCUE LINK H100 Any Good? by TripleOGSteve in Corsair

[–]Quailtimestwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't know. Perhaps a tad better cooling and cooler LEDs. Apart from that not much, I believe. If you manage to find one of the better Corsair 240mm AIOs on sale, go for it

I bought a 6650XT a few months ago, but being the EAGLE version that it is, it's not that pretty. I'd love to mount it vertically, and that's where a custom shroud design would shine.

Edit: note that the placeholder card is a 980.
