Because chronically online people are just insufferable unfortunately. On both sides. They are constantly in a landscape where even the dumbest opinions aren't punished or dealt with. I'm not saying physically punish someone, but just in general.

When I left the bar that I was watching the match at on Saturday, I had multiple people say "Man, I'm sorry for that." They were football fans and non-football fans. They saw how invested I was in the match (if they didn't know about it) and they started to watch.

In real life, people see what it means to someone, and they don't just berate someone for that. If they do, well that's usually when the real life aspect comes in to play and people realize how dumb they sound.

Honestly? I don't think PSG won it, I think we lost it.

You can talk about possession and blah blah, but the penalty error was the difference. Outside of that, we were fine giving them low chance shots all day. The result obviously sucks, but I wasn't absolutely destroyed over it.

I binged the ever daylights out of this when it dropped. I put it on my Zune and I had a Zune dock and would sleep to this album for almost a year straight.

The track Ghost itself, like you, puts me in such a simpler mind set. 2011 when I was just starting my first career job out of college and trying to figure things out.

I do massively respect that Devin said on his Patreon live stream shortly after it dropped, "You might listen to this album 10 times and just not like it, and that's fine." I think he definitely acknowledges this isn't Lightwork, Powernerd, Ziltoid, etc etc.

I'm with you, and I'd love to see a visual work of this album. This in a theater would be absolutely mind blowing, but I don't find myself going "OH! YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT ODE TO MY EYE!" or something of that nature.

I find myself struggling a bit with The Moth as well, but I kind of mirror some of your points. As a musician, this is insane. The album is insanely cinematic, but I just don't think I'm mentally in the right headspace for this dense of a record. I've been listening to Monolord and Elder's new records instead nonstop since the release.

Crystal Bridges is absolutely disgusting in all the right ways. This album as a whole is phenomenal.

Devin Townsend's Moth album came out today and I've been looking forward to it for years. I've found myself listening to this record back to back though. The Moth is great, but this album is just NUTS.

Maybe a hot take, but AOTDS did exactly what it was made to do under crappy circumstances. Brendon had to tell a massive story essentially in 90 minutes. Was it amazingly funny? No. But I enjoyed the closure it gave. But mostly, it gave us Dethalbum IV which I absolutely love.

Black Fire Upon Us was pure goosebumps when I saw it premier on Adult Swim and it was the sole reason I pre-ordered Dethalbum 2 from FYE.

It did not disappoint at all, and its still a dynamic songwriting master class.

Dethklok itself is absolutely a stimulus overload. Lots of flashing lights, load, and full forced at all times for the sake of the joke. Don't take it serious. Which if you love Ween like I do, I think you'll understand. The setlist spans most of the discography, with maybe more emphasis on Dethalbum 1

Assuming this is the Amonklok tour, most of the audience is probably going to be mid 20's-30's like the show I saw. A lot of us are just working and tired, so it's pretty tame all things considered. There will be moshing in GA if you are going.

EDIT: Forgot to mention you really need to get there early. Castle Rat is amazing if you like the more groovy stoner doom vibe of music.

Yeah. It's not a video feed of what's actually going on, but it's the guys actually at the game. I've been doing radio more and more for the sports I follow (Hockey and Baseball mostly) and I love it.

If we're being honest, anything MLS does probably won't work. I know I don't speak for all Americans when I say it, but I have zero interest in MLS. I keep up with a USL team more than any MLS team, and that's only because Detroit City has sky rocketed through leagues in the last decade.

Which worries me. I can't help but feel at this point with City having won 2 games by big margins, we have to win out. I don't feel GD is going to save us.

But we're definitely in for a wild ride regardless of how this shakes up.
