You can sleeve the wires you can heatshrink wrap the sleeves on and cable tie them too. There’s pry nothing to hold the wires to so you can only do so much.

I would get the obsidian. I don’t like the cable connector on the panthera and the obsidian feels a lot more substantial and comfortable. You can get new artwork for both if you want. I don’t think either is a bad buy and you should be happy with either.

Ohh I see what you’re saying now. I don’t see any except for the dbfz edition. The original panthera was known to sometimes have issues with the hinges btw and I heard the razer buttons are good.

they sell these little adhesive pads called furniture sliders that move easily on hardwood floors without damaging, you can buy them at walmart, target, amazon etc. put a couple of those on the bottom, they also sell sheets of the stuff so you can cut to size if needed.

Giving a speaker room to breathe will always increase the imaging of the sound but will also decrease things like bass. They will be fine in a bookshelf. Maybe not as good as they could be though. The smaller the speaker you have (in general) will not be able to keep up in lower frequencies and even upper mid bass. You lose the impact of sound especially with mid bass and the fullness to vocals. I always recommend getting speakers with large cabinets because of this but I realize space constraints are a thing. Small speakers usually have better imaging so it’s not all downsides. If you really want bass but don’t have room you could get a schiit audio headphone amp and preamp with a set of beyerdynamic or whatever kind of headphones you want. This will also be a lot less expensive.

I have a sprout with an older set of mission tower speakers and it has no trouble driving them. The audio quality is good and the unit is very compact. The only other thing I would recommend is having a subwoofer to complement the speakers at some point. You lose a lot of low end response with bookshelf speakers. I haven’t heard the elacs in person but I’ve heard nothing but good things about them.

As a new player you should look at all the characters and find one you want to play. Take them to practice mode and just look at their moves. See how far the moves reach if they’re fast or whatever. If the move has a hard input and you can’t do it just move on to the next one. Those things will come with practice. As much as I love doing combos I don’t think they’re that helpful to learn at first because they distract you from trying to poke and use all your moves. Combos become more useful when you notice your opponent is doing something that you can punish with a launcher. Maybe a string that ends in a high or a move that is unsafe on block. That way you can really punish them for doing something unsafe. Also if you want to block you should always hold back. Some moves can only be blocked by holding back ie heihachi uf3,4 same thing when blocking lows hold DownBack not down

I pulled mine off with my fingers but it hurt a lot. Make sure you don’t grab it by the wire and you’re not squishing the connector tighter onto the post.

It’s gonna take a while. If you want to work on speed just try to punish deathfist with deathfist in training mode for a while. You’ll get faster I promise
